A friend had a stroke a couple of months ago and adamantly refuses to follow any medical or holistic or dietary protocol for healing. After a stroke, emotional responses are skewed until the brain has time to rewire itself. He’s not in his right mind, yet he is being allowed to make poor choices. He has a large following of Facebook friends who argue with him daily on controversial topics of government conspiracies and such, and who now give him a lot of well meaning, but reckless advice. Magnesium Oil Benefits and How I Healed My Knee
I first heard about magnesium oil when I was researching Adrenal Fatigue. I’d been feeling a little fatigued lately so that is why I bought it, then I found out it could help my injured knee so I tried it (successfully!) for that. Some use it daily for aches, pains and muscles spasms, restless leg, eczema, psoriasis, hyperactivity, headaches, migraines, better sleep, relaxed muscles, improved daytime energy and even hair loss. Here’s some info on magnesium oil, as well as my knee story.

I use my new WaterPik Aquarius Model 660 Water Flosser
I got my new WaterPik Aquarius Model 660 Water Flosser in the mail yesterday. I’ve never used one and I’m excited. I’m a freak about clean teeth and a healthy mouth. I have a Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrush and also an Oral-B electric toothbrush which I use interchangeably. I found myself using the sonic one less often since it’s very intense. I wasn’t sure the Oral-B could do the job on its own, so I bought the water flosser to make sure I’m covered. I’m lucky in that I have my own teeth and know that with proper care, it’s possible for them to last me the rest of my life. I was excited to try my Waterpik! I read the instructions first, filling the tank and turning the pressure to high before plugging in and turning on, so I could prime the unit. Perfect! Then I began to use it. How hard can it be? Note to self: (1) turn the pressure way down until I get used to it. (2) if I want to watch myself use it, bring a mirror into the shower so the splatter won’t matter. (3) easiest is leaning over the sink, letting water drain out of my mouth as I use it with my head tilted sideways. Continue reading
Facebook promotes drama because it’s a microcosm of the greater picture. Bless it and use it for the mirror it is.
If you were in school or worked with Facebook friends, encountering them face to face every day, half the drama wouldn’t go on. Physical distance makes for loose tongues. Some take FB as a forum to taunt and shame whoever has slighted them. Some feign niceties and have a dark side offline, or vice versa. Some speak their mind and have never developed tact nor social skills. Many like to give unsolicited advice. In last night’s session, a friend mentioned an old frienemie has joined Facebook, befriended many mutual friends and is now wooing everyone with sweet words. The caller felt like she wanted to contact all the mutual friends and let them know what a sneaky snake the newcomer was. I let her know that would simply create a karmic backlash. I reminded her it’s not her job to school anyone else. Continue reading
If you’re being blocked, look for unresolved issues to clear
A friend spent months remodeling and stocking her new retail space and opened to rave reviews. She poured her heart and soul — and her savings – into it. A month later, she laments that while everyone loves the store, she’s had very slow sales. She prides herself on being conscious and spiritual. She’s in a good place and doing all the “right” things. So why is this happening? What is this karma for? We spent some time finding out. The first thing I look for is where there is an unresolved issue from the past. I asked about her prior year and previous location. She had set up a boutique inside another business’s storefront. To gain entry, she’d fibbed on her resume and had a friend lie to give her a reference. Continue reading
Tulpamancy, Creative Visualization and Deactivating a Thoughtform
I’ve been asked the difference between creative visualization and tulpamancy. Tulpamancers are a new online subculture wherein “sentient beings are imagined into existence using meditation-style exercises.” I can’t suggest an info site since the ones I’ve seen give a lot of mis-information. Here’s what Google search shows When you’re working in the subjective arena – working inside your mind via meditation and internal visualizations – it’s easy to get distracted. It’s also possible to attract things you find hard to handle. Tulpa is a concept in Tibetan mysticism of a being or object which is created through sheer spiritual or mental discipline alone. It is defined as any mind created apparition. It is a materialized thought that has taken physical form and is synonymous to a thoughtform. Continue reading
Accurate psychic prediction or self fulfilling prophecy?
A friend had a question, so she called several psychic readers to see what they could pick up. Rather than asking her question outright, she instead let each tell what they saw for her. One reader told her to be very careful that someone very close would betray her. Another told her she would have tension with her partner and might split. The third told her that illness would play a large part of next year for her. All three got her attention. And they also got her continuing business. She’s a smart woman, but each reader hit home emotionally. That’s when her wallet comes out. Although she has no health problems, she automatically began wondering what her illness might be. She began going over in her mind every little twitch and twang, and making herself sick over it. She began keeping an extra eye on her friends, and checking up on her partner, all of which caused tension. And, of course, she kept paying the readers for updates and clarifications. Seth on Dwelling On Negative Events
It is very poor policy to dwell negatively on unpleasant aspects of the past that you know, because some portions of the probable self may still be involved in that past. The concentration can allow greater bleed-through and adverse identification, because that part will be one background that you have in common with any probable selves who sprang from that particular source. To dwell upon the possibility of illness or disaster is equally poor policy, for you set up negative webs of probabilities that need not occur. You can theoretically alter your own past as you have known it, for time is no more something divorced from you than probabilities are. The past existed in multitudinous ways. You only experienced one probable past. By changing this past in your mind, now, in your present, you can change not only its nature but its effect, and not only upon yourself but upon others. Pretend a particular event happened that greatly disturbed you. In your mind imagine it not simply wiped out, but replaced by another event of more beneficial nature. Now this must be done with great vividness and emotional validity, and many times. It is not a self-deception. The event that you choose will automatically be a probable event, which did in fact happen, though it is not the event you chose to perceive in your given probable past. Telepathically, if the process is done correctly, your idea will also affect any people who were connected with the original event, though they can choose to reject as well as accept your version. An intention for today’s work day
I may have begun my day thinking this is like any other day, but I’m open to a new experience. I can train myself to expect something different by looking for things to be delighted by. If I expect the same-old, I get the same-old. If I want to change my experience, I first change my expectation. I remind myself that I don’t need to know where the next dollar or client or job will come from. I just need to remember — and keep myself in a state of hopeful expectation — that I can be unexpectedly delighted by the interesting and fun people, circumstances and events I begin to attract, who also happen to provide my income. Then I’ll occupy my time in fun and helpful ways while I wait for the Universe to do its magic.
Prepaving my tomorrow tonight
Before I go to sleep, I turn my mind to tomorrow and wonder what good fortune awaits me that right now I can’t imagine. What fun people I’ll interact with, what interesting and productive calls will come in. It’s kind of exciting not knowing, yet knowing it’s going to be good. How can it get any better than this?
