Tarot Card of the Day: 5 of Wands Reversed

Your Card for today.  Meditate upon the meaning this card might have for you since it showed up at this exact moment. Not everyone saw this.  Not everyone attracted this message onto their monitor.  YOU DID. There are no mistakes.
MEANING: The reversed 5 of Wands can indicate open conflict and competition, usually in the work arena. Take one step at a time and think before you act or speak.  You have a real need to believe in and trust yourself now.  Trust your instincts. but be hesitant to escalate conflict or to take irrevocable steps. Don’t be hasty, no matter how angry you get in coming weeks.

Work: There may be disputes coming up at work.  Think calmly and rationally and avoid arguments. Protect yourself in terms of tracking your actions, having a paper trail, etc. If looking for work, don’t be discouraged by competition. You have your own unique talents.

Love:  What looks like conflict on the surface can actually be beneficial to your relationship as you will learn more about yourselves, and each other. If you are looking for love or have your heart set on someone who doesn’t seem to be “moving forward” with you, be patient.

Finances: Question your old assumptions.  There is more you can do to increase income and cut expenses if need be. Think again. Try to look at your situation as though it was that of a third party. What would you advise that they do?

Health: If you are in physical pain,  address it before it affects your quality of life. Do what you can to ease the symptoms. Important right now: Nutrition: Eat lightly and healthily, get restorative sleep, drink alcohol only in moderation, decrease caffeine and, if you smoke, give your lungs a rest.

Spirituality: Spiritual growth is not a competition. When the reversed 5 of Wands appears, people may try to convince you that you need to grow a certain way, at a certain speed, and so forth. Know, too, that spiritual growth can involve dealing with and accepting some apparent contradictions. Try to become more comfortable with paradox.
