Thursday and Friday were hectic days of start ‘n stop, make a plan/change a plan and it took me thru the weekend to catch up. I seldom get aggravated, frazzled and flustered but boy I did a few times each of those days! I also seldom look at my own astrology transits (predictive astrology) ahead of time — although reading them in advance might give me clues to avoid upcoming challenges. But I find it insightful to read them afterward. When I felt well out of the storm, I looked back to see what I’d just gone through. I checked the Moon first, since that’s a 2.5 day journey through the emotions. I’m quick to speak my mind, slow to anger and quick to let go. Astrologer Martin Schulman’s Karmic Astrology series is insight and always relevant.  Karmic Astrology is Martin Schulman‘s method of finding the soul’s path in the horoscope. The Moon’s Nodes show the lessons being learned, while the rest of the chart shows how to do this. The South node contains within it all of the left over residue of past lives that must be refined, corrected and built-on in order to reach the North Node, the area of highest achievement in the current life. Thus, if you’re born in this life with an Aquarius North Node and a Leo South Node as I was, you must learn how to overcome the negative qualities of Leo and build from the positive ones before you can reach your Aquarius North Node. To do this, you must overcome ego problems (one of the negative qualities of Leo) and build on sincerity (one of the finer qualities of Leo). Here Schulman gives the karma of each sign.  When you know the karma of each of your planet placements, you can work on overcoming the negative qualities and building on the positive ones.

We have lived thousands of lives all over the cosmos. We have been men, women, poor, rich, uneducated, highly educated. We have lived in many cities, towns, rural areas, and been many nationalities. What is meant by: “You are me and I am you” is at least three things:

1. We are all sparks of the One Creative Force.
2. We have all accrued negative and positive karma as a result of our actions in many lives.
3. We are all on this planet for the purpose of balancing our negative karmic debts, so that we can ascend into Higher Consciousness.

There is no room for judgment of each other, no room for discrimination. We are equally loved unconditionally by a God of Love.

It is essential to remember that your Soul and your guides in spirit will not allow you to attempt to balance karmic debts that might overwhelm you. Mercury was retrograde September 17 thru October 9th but it’s not until October 24 that will Mercury will be back to where it was  on Sept 17. That means whatever was left unfinished, you’ll have the chance to properly complete after October 24.  Mercury Retrograde is nothing to fear. It just means review, reconsider, return for more info. Pay extra attention to detail.  Check everything twice.  Slow down during this time to be as effective as you can be. Make Mercury retrograde a time for you to be extra careful paying attention to details.  During the retrograde, look back in review, proof-read and edit for instances – don’t look forward or plan.  Things will begin to straighten out as Mercury passes the point where it first turned retrograde (15:54 Libra) and you can pick back up where you left off before it went retrograde. Save the contracts and commitments until after October 24th. This is also the time to repair any mis-takes of the retrograde period.  Mercury goes into Scorpio on November 3rd and then Sagittarius on November 21. According to many astrologers, planets which were retrograde at the time of our birth indicate karmic lessons we’ve brought into this life.  Some say they’re an indication of latent genius in areas pertaining to the planet and sign in which the retrograde occurs, and which manifests later in life; still others, that those with retrograde planets are here to increase consciousness and create change on a global scale.Others claim that those with retrograde planets in their natal charts are seldom seen as they actually are. In other words, their full and true potential is hidden, and that there is often much more to an individual with planets in retrograde than can be readily seen.  Because they are karmic in nature, this is an indication of a past life influence.
