I should clear my desk of work today but think I might want to tackle a giant cleanup in my main office. I put all these neat little white bookcases in here so I could keep papers visible without having a second desk, yet now I have 4-5 little tray tables full of work covering the bookshelves so I can’t even see them.  I find I am too comfortable sitting in a space that slowly becomes a nest buried under a mound of papers.  So maybe this week I will get organized in here.  Then all that is left is organizing my back office.  My closets are all good.   My shed could use some organization but it’s manageable and very little trash or clutter. Oh, wait, there’s my back porch.  I still haven’t folded my tent up properly and put it back away.  It’s on the back porch dry and folded on the table.  The back porch gets real dirty because all the pollen from the oak overhead seeps in through the screen and settles on everything.  Then the cobwebs appear, then dustbunnies.  I slept all night on the couch and moved sprinklers around when I woke up.  I cooked some chicken for dinner and some rice.  I love a rice cooker!  I put chicken strips in the freezer when I get them and then a couple of hours later I cut them into like 1-2″ cubes and freeze in the portions I want. Because I’ve learned I will eat whatever I cook, 4 oz or 16 oz.  So I have the thawed chicken cubes in a big baggie and I open it up and throw a bunch of white flour in it, and about a tablespoon yep tablespoon for every 4 oz I’d say garlic powder, and maybe a half teaspoon each of salt and pepper, cumin, thyme, cinnamon, maybe some paprika and a pinch of red pepper if I’m feeling frisky.  Then I blow air into the baggie as I close it up, then shake it all around and then let the air out and squish the flour into the chicken real good.  Then I put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and saute the chicken in it.  It’s the thing I cook and eat that by far has the most fat.

I just got the June Horizons to the printer.  I also just cleaned out my garage and shed and dropped many things off at Fellowship church parking lot 965 Malabar Road SW, I first took them to Our Lady of Grace at direction of today’s Florida Today article.  However, the woman who answered the church phone said they were no longer a shelter nor a drop off point for the fire victims.  She gave me the number to call The Sharing Center.  Dave answered the phone at the Sharing Center, I told him where I was, and asked where I could take my items.  He sent me to the Fellowhsip Building , a few blocks due west, for dropoff.  I was almost back up to it and could tell the man in the van in front of me had a group and was also going there.  The place looked deserted,,except there was one box spring and mattress laying next to some dropped off clothes and hundreds of cases of bottled water.  I left my stuff there, hoping my childhood teddy bears would give comfort to some kids.  I needed a new toaster oven, so I cleaned mine up and boxed it up and bought another on the way home from dropping off to the church.  Also about a dozen shirts each size for teenage boys and younger and some old shirts and pants of my father-in -law’s. Also I put a windchime in each box and some new fresh unwapped chapstick. I wonder where they should all really be dropped off. Well, Spirit will get them to the right people.

Just finished the June mag *yay* oh hey I filled the tank for the second time in my Toyota Prius, it took $25 and I got 41 mpg on the first tank.  And I do 80 mph up and down I-95 each week *I’m stoked*

Update about the arson suspect

The news Central Florida News 13 said he rents a room in a house 3 blocks south of me, I think he was just walking through my yard because he was taking the woods way back to his house from points north of me where he’d began a fire about 5am.  He didn’t count on the privacy fences inside my east woods, and the maze of trails, so he had to walk right in my open yard to get back out to the street.  He was staying under the cover of woods so the helicopters didn’t see him as he made his way home.  If he hadn’t spoken, I would not have turned around and seen him.  Divine intervention.  As it turns out, I know his mother.  Continue reading

The Palm Bay Arsonist Walks Thru My Yard

7:45am I was in my nightgown out in my backyard, setting the sprinklers for the day. I finished and stepped behind my eleagnus hedge to go into my back porch when I hear a man’s voice and I looked up and saw him. He was maybe 5’10-6ft, slim build 170-185, blonde hair, kinda of Tom Petty -ish looking and wearing a blue tee shirt.  I heard him say “I think I got the wrong one”   Not quietly to himself but as though he was on a cell phone he might have had in his hand as he walked, he had a small something with him. When I heard his voice, I looked over. Had he not spoken I would not have looked that way and would not have seen him at all.  He was coming out of my east woods behind the satellite dish and walking along the east side of the house toward the street. I walked into my back door and right out the front to see what kind of vehicle he was driving, thinking he might be a utility worker and by the time I got to the street, he was nowhere to be seen, no cars on the street, plus my giant kitty Izzy was laying in the middle of the path, so I know the man did not pass him, and that he had to have gone right back into my east woods.  Continue reading

Drumming to bring rain to quench the Palm Bay arson fires

We had a great drum circle at Canova Beach last night. It was held at sundown with the intent to bring on some rain to help quench the Palm Bay arson fires. I emailed my group:

“We’re kinda pinned in by traffic here in Palm Bay, SW Palm Bay has been asked to evacuate (sorry Shannon B).  I am in SE Palm Bay, a mile north of Bayside Lakes between Emerson and Eldron, 2-3 miles north of the fires but feel safe, and it seems like it’s getting under control.

REMEMBER, if you have the tv tuned to the news and are watching the fires, you are vibrating in a place of keeping the fires going.

REMEMBER the news will continue to show the most outrageous footage, like the one of the kids running screaming thru the school earlier today.  That is not happening now!  Right now they are getting it under control.

PLEASE THINK AND FEEL that things are being handled well.
PLEASE THINK AND FEEL that help is happening.
PLEASE THINK AND FEEL that as night falls, the rains are heading our way.
PLEASE THINK AND FEEL what a good downpour would feel like to our yards.
PLEASE THINK AND FEEL how fun to know we’re getting a good soaking rain.

If you have to watch the news, just remember that God/Goddess is stronger than any fire.  In June 2003, my neighborhood lost acres of woods and one home to fire.  It stopped at my property.  I know we can escape trouble even though it’s all around us.  God/Goddess is stronger than any fire!

Send us good thoughts down here, we’re not worried but we know how it looks to you guys up there”

I keep political commentary out of Horizons for a reason

no politicsA writer sent me a proposed article that was her commentary on the politics going on. I emailed back:  “I try to keep political commentary out as much as possible. I’m not political and haven’t listened to the debates and don’t know any of the candidates.  I would rather never address politics or economics or any current media situations unless I can withhold critical commentary while focusing on what the remedy would be.   I’m aware that may sound wishy washy but I think you understand.    Mostly what I want with Horizons is to drill home the fact that it does not matter what is going on in the rest of the world, we can chose to focus our thoughts in a way that attracts to us exactly what we want in our lives.  We can change our thoughts and discipline our behaviors so much that we can have an excellent and prosperous life no matter who is in office, no matter what the official state of the economy, no matter what the environmentalists or the scientists say is happening around us.  I know because I live that life. So I rarely want to bring to the attention of my readers anything other than some hopeful food for thought, a respite for the time it takes them to read the magazine, of inspiring and hopeful information.  To let them hold that place in consciousness that is not attached to anything the mainstream media is talking about.”

A dream

I had a dream this morning.  Mostly my sleep works like this: I work til I crash and conk out for 2-3 hours.  Then I get up, work for a bit, then meditate and do some visualization work or my OOBE work, and then go back to sleep.  During the first sleep, I’m dead to the world.  During the second sleep, I have my dreams.  In the dream I had travelled to what was supposed to be D’s sleeping room.  I was looking for somewhere to sit but there were clothes all over, he was sleeping not in a bed but in like a big recliner and a cat was on your lap.  Then a voice drew me into the kitchen whre a woman was frying fish in like an assembly line of McDonald’s type fryers and for each fryer there was a cat sitting on a stool watching it.  She said “I need you to help me get things ready, it’s a surprise, he doesn’t know he just won the lottery.”  Then I turned to go tell D but the scene changed and I was out of the dream.    Continue reading

I go to a Dennis Hollin table tipping seance

Last month,  I visited my buddy Dennis Hollin and wanted to experience his table tipping. Table tipping is one form of séance; it is a physical phenomenon. And no, it’s not a trick; it is just a phenomenon of nature and spirit.  Six of us sat around the table and placed our hands lightly upon it.  To get the energy moving and to raise the vibrations, we sang some old folk songs -he always begins with In The Garden , then we moved into She’ll Be Coming ‘Round The Mountain, Oh Susannah – and, within 3-4 minutes, the table began to move and bounce around a bit.  Before we could begin asking questions, the table leaned in and hugged me… for a long, long time.  I glanced nervously over at Dennis, who just laughed (Dennis is always laughing!) and he said it’s because I’m new and ‘they” were just saying hi.

We went around the table several times, asking yes and no questions and the table would tip once for yes and twice for no. I asked a trick question and the table began a half tilt, then stopped.  I rephrased my question and it answered accurately, 1 tip for yes.  It was a very fun evening and you had time between your turns to think of new questions to ask.  It was all we could talk about for days afterward.  That night I learned Spirit communicates with us in many forms: in meditation, in prayer, in nature, in coincidence, in synchronicity, and even in a big round table that tips and dances for our delight.

A chat with Michael on being a partner

An email with a friend M about relationship matters. He wrote: “I know that the only way I could be (a good partner) is to be my authentic self, which means being healed of my injuries and the beliefs that influence how I am attracted to and act with people, which means going along this Divine Love path. Every way I look at it, I have to be responsible for my spiritual growth and I can’t do it for anyone else but me. I have to go forward without regard for anyone else, just for me, and one day I’ll be clear and be a good partner for my future soulmate.”   Continue reading
