If I deleted you, I apologize

I discovered and deleted 700+ spam robot “subscribers” to my blog today. If I deleted your valid email address in error, I apologize. To receive notification of new posts, you’d have to register again and let me know you’re a real person. On the blog, I have extensive info on the reality of the mind / body connection and the fact that we participate in creation of the reality we experience. To comprehend that we survive in consciousness after the change called death, we practice daily separation of consciousness from the body via meditation. I have much info on Creative Visualization including tips on using it to be lucky with the  lottery, info on Meditation, natural Sleep Remedies for Insomnia and the beauty of menopause, tips on becoming psychic, the psychic medium process, and what the crossing over experience was like as reported by those who made the transition. Again, if I deleted your valid email address in error, I apologize. To receive notification of new posts, you’d have to register again and leave a comment on any post to let me know you’re a real person.  I’ll see the comment but won’t publish it (unless it’s a comment meant for that post.) I’m deleting 75 new spam users a day.

I’ve been painting angel heart rocks

On July 24, 2017, I began painting rocks. It began as an easy creative outlet and it’s turning into a mission.  On Facebook I saw the colorful rocks with messages people were creating, finding and leaving and I thought, “How cool, create something uplifting for a stranger to find and be inspired by.”  I liked the idea of painting hopeful messages on rocks and I began to think about what kind of message would really be meaningful to me if I were to happen upon it written upon a rock.  Then I started thinking about what images comforted me when I looked at them and the image of the cartoon angel holding the heart out came to mind. That’s always been a favorite image. I tried sketching the few prototypes and settled on a few I kind of liked. But it was when I began painting them that change began taking place. At first I was painting each one, one at a time, trying to get the mechanics of it into my muscle memory. Creativity doesn’t always flow spontaneously for me. I’ve learned sometimes I have to prime the pump.  When I began the painting and the different color combinations, my mind relaxed its hold and the brush took on a life of its own. There is more to this story that i’ll write about as soon as I get a chance. Painting is an excellent focused, moving meditation. It puts me into an excellent headspace to listen to my intuition and receive inner guidance. In 2014 I did a series of paintings as a form of shamanic soul retrieval and wrote about it here.

When I can’t find the USB icon on my Samsung Galaxy S5

Periodically I move pics from my phone to my computer.  The USB icon doesn’t always appear asking if I want to charge or move files.  What works is swap out to a new cable or do the Developer Options below.  Then don ‘t do it on my phone, go to my desktop and access the phone from there.

Connect phone and computer
Open the cover at the bottom of your phone.
Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer’s USB port.
Select USB connection setting (One does not appear.)

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Connected as a media device.
Press Media device (MTP) until the function is turned on.

Go to Settings › Storage › again settings (on action bar). There should be “USB Computer connection” option. (THERE IS NOT.)

Tap on it and choose “mtp mode”. That should make your phone visible to your pc.

THAT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME BUT HERE IS WHAT DID WORK   Continue reading

Your Tarot Card of the Day JUSTICE

Meditate upon the meaning this card might have for you since it showed up here. Not everyone saw this. Not everyone attracted this message. YOU DID. There are no mistakes.

Introduction: Justice deals with the idea of karma and the law of cause and effect, stating that all events, and all people, are connected. It’s important to remember that not everything you are dealing with, however, is a direct result of your own actions or karma. Sometimes you will be called upon to deal with the results of the actions of someone you care about, and this can sometimes be as difficult and demanding as it is when you’re up against something that is completely of your own making. Don’t blame yourself unnecessarily.

General: This card evokes the need for fairness, balance, and harmony. Operate in as balanced and reasonable a fashion as you can. This includes in how you think about and treat yourself. If you are directly involved with a court case, it is likely to be resolved, at least in large degree, in your favor.     Continue reading

Tarot Card Of The Day: Temperance

Tarot TemperanceMeditate upon the meaning this card might have for you since it showed up for you at this exact moment.   Not everyone saw this.  Not everyone attracted this message onto their monitor.  YOU DID. There are no mistakes.

MEANING: Temperance is a card about balance and relationships of all kinds, they all need your attention. You may have to try several approaches to things before you find what is right for you. Although your relationships are likely to be going well, you may need to look at your deeper personal issues and see if or how these are standing in your way. And if they are, how to work through them and integrate them. The idea now is to do what it takes to find balance, in yourself, in your relationships, and with your goals and aspirations. So remember yesterday I woke up having had a dream (I dream about Martin Schulman — coincidence?) and found a new message on my blog? I wondered if I had the dream because her message was there waiting for me. I replied to the message and later noticed an email from her. She briefly mentioned her study interests and they coincided with my own, down to being a writer and fellow devotee of Sai Baba. She graciously sent me a pdf of a book she’s written about her awakening experiences. I love how the Universe arranges these meetings according to our vibrational resonance.

When we begin to see each other through what the metaphysician calls the third eye, we begin to know each other on a level that is beyond what our physical eyes can see. — Marianne Williamson

When visual clues fail, act as if it’s there

It’s disconcerting sometimes when typing in a program and my visual cues disappear. I can see the empty box where my icon is greyed out. So I remind myself I’ve done this many times before and even though I don’t see the icon there, I have faith that if I click the greyed out box I will have been correct. Our intuition is like that, we may get a hint of something but we have to move forward and have faith it’s the right move to allow the magic to unfold for us. We have to act as if it’s there because we know it’s there whether we can see it or not. Don’t be thrown off balance when all your visual clues disappear. That’s just your inner eye unfolding.

Friends are surprised I do Horizons on my own

Friends say they’re amazed that I do Horizons Magazine on my own when other local publications list staff and volunteers. The layout and design part of it is easy — time consuming but easy. The administrative part of it (billing for ads, maintaining corporate docs) also time consuming but easy. It’s in the chasing of the advertising dollars that the real work lies so I leave that to the other local publications. Horizons was never designed to create income. It pays for itself but my income is derived elsewhere. If I had staff selling ads, the magazine would be much bigger. Ten years ago — when I was very visible attending and working conferences — the magazine was 64 pages, half of them ads. Now it’s half that and I appreciate the smaller size. It’s less work. I’ve had many of the same advertisers and subscribers for 20+ years. Horizons is not for everyone, it’s a little offbeat, it attracts some deep thinkers, visionaries, workers on the inner planes, those on the leading edge of thought. I’m thrilled to have gotten to know so many of them through the years, even if it’s just through Facebook.  If you’re on FB, find me and say hi!
