Being alone with your thoughts at the end – I dream of… Dennis Rodman?

I  had an all night dream Sunday night about Dennis RodmanEach time I woke up and went back to sleep, I went back into the dream. I joked on Facebook, “Now it will take me all day to shake that off, brrrrr…”  I like Facebook because it’s like walking into a cafe 24/7 and chatting with whatever friends are there taking a break with me.  Instant feedback and discussion whenever I feel like it – neat.  Friends asked about tattooes and shaved heads and what he was wearing and if it was a sex dream. It wasn’t a sex dream, I dunno where it came from, although I did watch Celebrity Rehab and on it thought he acted like a complete ass.  A friend commented “I just read that he was drinking again in South Beach. I hope that he can overcome his inner demons. Sad he thinks he must act the way he does for attention or whatever… it is not his authentic self, that’s for sure… probably doesn’t even know what that is.”    Continue reading

What is your personality essence?

I like watching some of the cooking shows.  Giada De Laurentiis is a favorite, with Giada at Home on The Food Network. I like Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals and Alton Brown’s Good Eats.  I especialy like their personalities.  They each have their own personal flavor, kind of like Emeril Lagasse has his custom blend of spices.  His Emeril’s Essence contains paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano and thyme.  My own custom blend of most used cooking spices contains garlic powder, cumino, thyme, oregano, basil and cinnamon.  It gives my dishes a distinctive flavor and is a common theme throughout my daily fare. A Week Of Fresh Asparagus – Is Every Meal Every Day Too Much?

This week I’ve been buying asparagus again.  Walmart has it for $1.88 and I love fresh asparagus.  I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it, but I know The Healing Power of Asparagus and I love the taste.  I brought them home and sprayed Veggie Wash on the stalks, rinsed them, then stood them tips up in fresh water in a tall container in the fridge.  The first night I sauteed some with mushrooms and yellow bell pepper in a stirfry.  The next morning I made an asparagus and (Jarlsberg Lite) cheese omelet using Eggbeaters.  For lunch, I made my Healing Asparagus Soup. That night, I snacked on the fresh stalks as I watched tv.  For breakfast the next morning, an asparagus omelet on a bed of fresh steamed spinach.  For lunch, stirfried with noodles.  For dinner, sauteed with chicken and scallions.  Asparagus raw in a salad with carrot and pineapple.  Another omelet the next morning.  Oh, asparagus, I love you so!

How I pivoted my bitchy consciousness around – just in time

I’m usually in a smiling, happy go lucky frame of mind 96% of the time. I’m happy with my life and seldom worry or have conflict.  I get over stuff quickly.  I roll with the punches.  I don’t let other people’s words or behavior concern me.  I’m my own boss.  What’s not to like?  But I have my unconscious days also, days that I forget who I really am and let things get to me.  Last week was one of those days.  It gave me a chance to really show what I know when it comes to recognizing when I’ve gotten myself stuck in the muck, then using my will to focus my attention to pivot my thoughts to get out of there.  Abraham-Hicks defines pivoting as to consciously change the direction of your thought. To deliberately choose a thought that feels better, about a topic you enjoy.  It’s the secret for getting through today’s world, having the best possible time while you’re here. Continue reading

Indian Holy Man Astounds All, Lives On Air for 2 Weeks

An 83-year-old Indian holy man who says he has spent seven decades without food or water has astounded a team of military doctors who studied him during a two-week observation period.  Prahlad Jani spent a fortnight in a hospital in the western Indian state of Gujarat under constant surveillance from a team of 30 medics equipped with cameras and closed-circuit television.  During the period he neither ate nor drank and did not go to the toilet.  “We still do not know how he survives,” neurologist Sudhir Shah said after the experiment.  “It is still a mystery what kind of phenomenon this is.” Continue reading

New Traffic Law – $754 Ticket – Move Over America

GOOD THING TO KNOW:  New Law: If a patrol car is pulled over to the side of the road, you have to change to the next lane (away from the stopped vehicle) or slow down by 20 mph. Every state except Hawaii , Maryland and D.C. has this law.  In California , the “Move-over” law became operative on January 1, 2010.   A friend’s son got a ticket for this recently. A police car (turned out it was 2 police cars) was on the side of the road giving a ticket to someone else. He slowed down to pass but did not move into the other lane. The second police car immediately pulled him over and gave him a ticket. He had never heard of the law. It is a fairly new law that states if any emergency vehicle is on the side of the road, if you are able, you are to move into the far lane.   The cost of the ticket was $754, with 3 points on your license and a mandatory court appearance. Please let everyone you know that drives about this new law. It is true, see details at the following web address: http://www.moveoveramerica.com/

Freaky Physics Proves Parallel Universes Exist – How I Find it Relates to Mediumship and Lets Me Do What I Do

When doing mediumship work, I find “time” is of the essence.  Anything to do with linear time I have to lose before I can get in that place where I have access to info.  When I came across the below article, it helped me understand why.

Look past the details of a wonky discovery by a group of California scientists — that a quantum state is now observable with the human eye — and consider its implications: Time travel may be feasible.  In the movie “Back to the Future,” Doc Brown builds a time machine into a Delorean. New research brings that vehicle one step closer to reality.  The strange discovery by quantum physicists at the University of California Santa Barbara means that an object you can see in front of you may exist simultaneously in a parallel universe — a multi-state condition that has scientists theorizing that traveling through time may be much more than just the plaything of science fiction writers.  And it’s all because of a tiny bit of metal — a “paddle” about the width of a human hair, an item that is incredibly small but still something you can see with the naked eye. I remember Momma 2010

Mom 1968I wrote in detail about my mom last year at I remember Momma; If you could see where I have gone.  We had a great relationship growing up, and I don’t feel anything was left unsaid between us when she died on April 8, 1996 of her first heart attack.  It was two days before my birthday, two days before I was scheduled to leave for California, and it was unexpected, so there was very little stress about it.  I was told she was fine, but to drive to Tampa to see her.  When I arrived, she was asleep, her husband and his family said all was well, so I left that night to come back the next day.  The next morning when I arrived, some of the family seemed ticked at me and hours later I am told that my mother’s condition was actually quite serious but that her husband and her sister did not want to upset me by telling me so.  So the others were surprised that I left the first night.  They didn’t know that I didn’t know her condition, I hadn’t spoken to the doctor, since her husband and my aunt assured me she was fine, and just resting.   That was their way, to just pretend something isn’t happening (bless their hearts).
