Your Tarot Card of the Day: DEATH **Always good news**

You’re preparing for sweet relief and finally a sense of closure.
Introduction: Despite what Hollywood shows you, the tarot’s Death card is NOT a BAD or SCARY card and does NOT predict physical death. The “Death” card is about change, the shaking up of the status quo to reveal a welcome change, new beginnings, the end of a dark night of the soul. Every situation, every relationship is a series of deaths and rebirths. This can refer to people, jobs, habits, addictions, whatever it is you’ve been asking the Universe for clarification on and relief from. When Death appears, it tells you that you’re going thru a process of renewal, gaining stability, strength and new awareness arising out of necessary upheaval or change.

General: You’re in the process of deep transformation and change, both internally and externally. Situations, things and people that you’ve counted on or gotten used to may no longer be available to you in the same way they once were. The more accepting you can be of change of any type during this time, the better. The less you try to control what is underway, the more comfortable this time will be for you. Often what you need to let go of is some sort of self-limiting belief or attitude. Sometimes we just can’t see how our attitudes are hurting us, and when that is true this time period can be a wake-up call. The energy of this time is not just change or dissolution; it is change or dissolution followed by renewal. If you find one door closing for you, that’s because your skills are needed elsewhere and another door is opening. Don’t be nervous, pluck up your courage and step through the door. This change is needed, you’ll be glad.

Work: If you have been unhappy but not wanted to leave because of the steady income, you could end up being forced out. A change in job status is a very real possibility and would lead to your greater good. Now would be a very good time to start working on Plan B. You may want to consider making a complete change, perhaps even a complete change of field.

Love: If you are clinging to a relationship that you are unhappy in because you don’t want to let go of the familiar or the dollars, this is a good time to stop. Have an honest discussion about the problems and if they OR YOU can’t or won’t make a change, it’s time to let it go. If you have tried to fix what’s wrong and been unsuccessful then move on. If you are this unhappy now, how unhappy do you think you’ll be in 5 years or 10, when your partner decides to leave without warning? Change is scary but staying at any cost should be scarier. If you can be brave and take the chance of leaving the security of this relationship, you can find a life that works much better. Happiness is out there waiting but you have to take steps toward it.

Finances: You may have to make some sacrifices to deal with financial obligations. Don’t ignore any looming problems and don’t hesitate to reach out for help. Keep your payments up to date, research Plans B, D and D for additional income. You don’t have to struggle or suffer alone, nor should it come to that, although there may be a possibility that you’ll be learning creative ways to create new income. Figure out exactly what you are dealing with, face the situation, then do what you must to get through it. Ultimately you will profit greatly from what you have learned. It may not seem like it at the time but you will be fine in the long run and even thrive.

Health: Keeping your stress level manageable is a must in order to stay in good health. Deal with any problems that come up physically, don’t try to avoid them. Be sure to get enough rest and don’t abuse your body with foods, drugs or alcohol. If you need healing, ask for it on both the literal and the spiritual planes.

Spirituality: This is a good time to cultivate a positive attitude. If you don’t like something, change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. No matter what it is, this too shall pass. Don’t fight change. Allow yourself to feel what you feel, but don’t wallow. If you need help pulling yourself away from any pain or loss that you are suffering, reach out. There is always a caring soul who will help you, don’t look down, look up, look around.
