Take the next 3 weeks to reflect rather than initiate something new. Mercury goes retrograde October 4 through October 24. On November 11, Mercury will be back to where it was when it went retrograde, meaning whatever you leave unfinished this week, you will have the chance to properly complete it after November 11. I think Mercury Retrograde gets a bad rap. Since Mercury rules communication, people say “oh everything’s going wrong, that’s Mercury retrograde for you,” and that’s not the case at all. Mercury Retrograde just means review, reconsider, return for more info. Pay extra attention to detail. Check everything twice. Slow down during this time, to be as effective as you can be. The way to make the most of Mercury retrograde is to not let it have any power over you. Stop keeping track of when it is. If you can’t do that, then make Mercury retrograde a time for you to be extra careful paying attention to details. During the retrograde, your time is best spent looking back in review – not looking forward. Continue reading

Uranus Opposition Weight Gain? Work on everything during the ages of 39-43
A friend and I talk astrology and she has just gone thru what they call –> the Uranus Opposition in astrology, ages 39-43, what society calls mid life crisis. During this transit, we experience unexpected events that shake up our old realities, messengers bearing synchronistic messages that jar us loose from old perceptions, feelings of restlessness and anxiety that disrupt old patterns. The Chinese oracle the I Ching interprets crisis as an opportunity in disguise. In this case, the opportunity is for re-assessment and re-evaluation of our strengths and our weaknesses, an opportunity to delve more deeply into the emotional baggage or imprinting that we carry from the past. Within three years, her life was completely different. She had a new home, she had a budding new career, her relationships had changed. She also gained over 50 pounds that she couldn’t get rid of.
Full Moon in Virgo March 16 at 1:08pm
Full moon in Virgo tomorrow 1:08pm. When the Moon peaks in the sign of Virgo on March 16, relationships could turn into anxiety-ridden critique fests. The best way to work with this is to consider it a time to purify our minds from the illusions and delusions of Pisces (the opposite sign.) Virgo asks us to take a critical and discriminating look at what works versus what’s just a big mess when it comes to our partnerships. By paying closer attention to the details, we may be able to untangle and find new solutions to some of the more elusive patterns and problems. Continue reading
My current awakening as reflected in my current astrology
I’m going through another layer of realization and personal growth. I said that 20 years ago through a veil of challenge. Yay for being on the other side of that. I know it’s a result of having learned to work on my stuff as it comes up, so that I don’t have to repeat the same lessons. As I dropped baggage at every new realization, it became easier to move forward without struggle until today is nearly a cake walk. I’ll share my lesson below, but first for you astrology buffs, my awakening is reflected in my astrology transits as well. The astrology is below in blue, skip it if it’s of no interest to you and this is a much quicker read. Continue reading
What Happens When Mercury Goes Direct Again?
October 10, 2015: Happy Mercury Goes Direct Day! Everyone who gets nervous each time Mercury goes retrograde can relax for while. After tomorrow, Mercury retrograde ends and Mercury goes direct again. That means enough of the drama and mis-communication of the last few weeks. After Mercury goes retrograde is the time to slow down to notice changes you’d like to make, but you’ll wait to correct them after Mercury has gone direct. During the retrograde, your time is best spent looking back in review – not looking forward. Mercury direct, however, is the time for new beginnings, setting the record straight, for making plans and commitments. It’s the time for clearing up any disputes you’ve had the past few weeks. It’s time for getting everything out in the open and making plans for the future. It’s a time to take steps toward financial self-sufficiency and to deal realistically with your debt. The Void of Course Moon
I don’t sign contracts or conduct initial contacts during a void of course moon. To me, it’s a good time to take a breather on those activities for the few minutes or hours until when the moon is out of void. The void-of-course period of the Moon is the period of time from the moment the Moon makes the last contact with any planet in the current Sign of the Zodiac, and until it enters the next sign. The void-of-course period can be very short, only a few minutes, but it can also be very long, about two days. Here’s a Universal Lunar Calendar that shows it. So what does the void of course Moon have to do with my daily life? Continue reading
In what area of life is Jupiter bringing you luck and good fortune?
Jupiter, planet of luck, generosity and benevolence, is in the sign of Cancer until July 16th, 2014. Where Jupiter appears in your chart is where you will have expansion and be lucky. For me, it falls into my 4th house of home and family. It’s been there since June 25, 2013. When I ran my future prediction astrology transit report, I could see it’s been right on the mark. This is why I like to do these reports, so I can see months ahead of time what’s coming up. This is what the text reads for Jupiter in Cancer transitting my 4th house. That means this is what I can expect to experience between June 16, 2013 and July 2104. so far it’s been right on. Let me know if you’d like me to do a report for you. The report reads: Continue reading
The planet Jupiter is now retrograde through March 6, 2014
The planet Jupiter represents luck and generosity and expansion. Where ever Jupiter is in your birth chart is the area you will have luck. When Jupiter moves through your astrological houses, it is called transitting the houses. Whatever house of yours Jupiter is transitting is where you will have change. When Jupiter turns retrograde, the action of Jupiter is reversed so that the emphasis is upon inner awareness and inner growth. When opportunities arise while Jupiter is retrograde, they are the result of seeds planted in the past from people met or connections made in the past. In normal conditions, Jupiter is the provider of wisdom, intelligence and happiness. A retrograde Jupiter is equivalent to training mystical power and strength. Transitting Jupiter is now in my 4th house of home and family. For me, this means: Continue reading
Your astrology is more than your online horoscope
A friend reads the daily Facebook horoscopes and today’s concerned her: “Your path is becoming more difficult to navigate than you first thought.” Her situation is that she let her son and a friend live in her home for a year, with the idea to help her fix it up to sell. The bottom line is no one ever helped her as promised, no one contributed money, she finally put her foot down and they left. All is well. Then she read her horoscope today and got worried again: “Your path is becoming more difficult to navigate than you first thought. Perhaps somebody is trying to dissuade you from your plan or even thwart you. Don’t give up – see it as a challenge and a test of your will. Defend your plans and push forward, or adapt your ideas to current circumstances.” I told her that nothing makes our path more difficult than we ourselves do via our repeated thoughts. We can make it easy and we can make it hard. Whatever it is. Continue reading
Releasing old programming during this retrograde by going on a journey of discovery within my own memory
I told Facebook that I love riding around at night under the stars when it’s quiet. A friend commented that he’s a crazy bike rider and has been hit numerous times. “Good grief,” I said, “I don’t ride anywhere but around the hood and I get off the road if a car comes.” That’s a habit I’ve had since childhood. If I am walking or bike riding somewhere alone and a car approaches, I get out of the street. When I was a kid, my dad would tell me to get out of sight when a car approaches so they don’t take me, to duck behind a tree and stop moving so they don’t see me. When I was 15, the daughter of someone he knew was kidnapped so I grew up being on alert for it. With that belief system, I attracted my share of stalkers and such. When I realized what was happening, I morphed my belief system to cut it out. When I know better, I do better. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting during this Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, which takes place in my 7th house of relationship. That means all my unresolved relationship issues are laid out before me saying, “peek at me? visit me? resolve me?” Coming out of the Sun square Pluto earlier this month and several squares and oppositions with Uranus, I thought that meant I’d be arguing with my partner. Happily that’s not the case. He’s a chill guy, so the astrological “challenge” appears instead as me having old emotional issues surface in my mind and me working through them as they come up. Continue reading
