A New Moon Solar Eclipse will occur in the sign of Virgo early into the day on Sunday, September 13th. Its effects can be felt up to six months after the actual date of the eclipse. In the sign of Virgo, work and health matters will be a major focus on a personal level. This eclipse is about new beginnings regarding work, attention to details, fitness, health regimes, and daily routines. A client can’t understand. She moves her business every year to a new location. She determines who in her profession is making money and she rents an office down the street doing the same thing. She complains they see her as competition so she can give her “I don’t believe in competition” speech. This time she’s also named her business the same as an existing business nearby, who has been offering similar services and products for years. You don’t have to tell us who you are, you show us who you are. There’s enough for everybody.  I figure sure, they are lots of writers and publishers and psychics out there, but none of them do what I do the way I do it. I don’t care how they do it. I call my clients to me based on my vibe and theirs and how we attune to each other. No one can take that from me. Sure, they can “snitch” Sally as a client by soliciting her and offering to do what I do and charge less for it, but Sammy will take her place the moment she’s gone, so no one loses anything. Anyone can say they do what I do, that doesn’t mean they can do it. And if the client is happier with what they get from someone else, that’s a vibrational match so I can only rejoice. It reminds me years ago a reader told me they’d called a local magazine inquiring about regional magazine franchises for sale.  The franchise liaison guy told her she could “blow Horizons Magazine out of the water” if she bought their franchise in a particular area. WTF? We aren’t even the same kind of publication. There really is no competition once you know who you are and what you’re capable of. No matter what anyone says.

Stop shaming Kim Davis for her personal life not matching her religion. Stop making this about religion. Stick to the real issue. “Kim Davis isn’t fighting for religious liberty. There’s a new effort to legalize marijuana in Florida and not just for medical reasons. Petitions are about to hit the streets soon in a push to get voters to decide whether to legalize marijuana for anyone over 21. Jodi James with Florida Cannabis Action Network in Melbourne is behind a new effort to make it happen.  An affiliated political action group called Floridians for Freedom http://floridiansforfreedom.org is gearing up for a massive, statewide push to gather signatures on a constitutional amendment that would make marijuana legal for anyone over the age of 21. It’s a separate effort from the medical marijuana petition led by attorney John Morgan last year. Organizers said the effort is a simple civil liberty issue, not a medical issue, and would allow lawmakers to regulate how it’s sold. They want to get one million registered voters to sign the petition to get it on the 2016, if not the 2018, ballot. On Legalizing Marijuana.  Wanting repeal of prohibition isn’t just about getting high. Cannabis is a natural medical treatment. It is a miracle plant put here by a loving Creator, for a reason. It is a sacrament. It is holy. And it’s not just about the medicinal side, it’s also about getting industrial hemp growing in this country again.

A friend after last night’s kirtan at Yoga Shakti Mission asked me why I was poking our friend Gajendra in the tummy as the three of us were speaking. Because he was wearing a t-shirt with baby Krishna and I was tapping baby Krishna’s feet since we were celebrating his birthday! Happy Krishna Janmashtami!
