I didn’t sleep Tuesday night, I read Mickey Singer’s Surrender Experiment overnight. I like reading about people I know and how they got to where they are. I deep-slept today from 5:00-10:00pm. I love it when I sleep so deeply that I don’t know what day/night it is when I wake up. When I can lose track of time, that lets me know I’ve let myself fully relax.

So which is it?
So which is it? Do we surrender, let go and let God, or do we take steps to create our own reality? I find the Path is never one way or the other, it slips in and out of lead and follow, surrender and envision. Often it’s more a wave to surf than a path to trod.
Just noticed my walking has helped lift and shape my bottom
Today I tried to take a full length sideways selfie but the screen door got in the way. It’s just as well since it brought full attention to my backside. I realized the new walking routine and exercise bike is lifting my bottom. A friend couldn’t believe I put this less than flattering pic up on Facebook, but I have no shame. Yay to me for going to the gym and yay for squats. I’ve crashed my right knee but my butt looks stellar. Knees heal. Keep squatting!
In addition to amping up my workouts to daily, I got an exercise bike a month ago and began walking two months ago. My bottom is definitely lifted from the last time I obsessed over it. Partially, perhaps, because I’m 10 lbs heavier here, so I have to be careful. A bubble butt can get out of hand as it reaches maximum density… it can go from JLo to Shamu in no time flat. FBF Janet commented: “This is how my butt looks after practicing Esther Gokhale Method for walking. I also was surprised to see mine had changed shape and lifted as well, by using the proper muscles to support my body in movement. Yay for strong butts!” Here is a good video about the Esther Gokhale method of walking –> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtQ1VqGGU74.
As I watch, I realize I am aware of engaging these muscles as she suggests. When my knee began acting up, I got more mindful of every step, aligned with shoulder and foot. At 63, my primary goal is having a body that is healthy and strong for the next 40+ years. It’s a bonus if it looks good, too. I was pleasantly surprised seeing my backside in this photo. I’ll lose some mass when the pounds drop but I’ll keep the lift as long as I keep up the exercise. And despite the obvious sway back, thanks to yoga I’ve got a strong back and have never had back problems.
Tomorrow Mercury goes direct. On June 28th, it will be back to 13 degrees Gemini, where it was when it went retrograde on May 18. Whatever got stalled midstream on May 18th, you’ll have another opportunity after June 28th.
I am freeing my pot-bound self
I am freeing my pot-bound self. If I want to be more than I am now, I need to give myself more room to do that. I know me, I will expand to fill whatever space I find myself in. I need to leave a lot of empty, white space for the Universe to delight me with the filling of. I’m freeing my pot bound self, my roots long to reach and stretch.
Pot bound definition: having roots so densely matted as to allow little or no space for further growth.
Even a little bit of sugar activates a craving for it
I’m not a sweets eater. I don’t add sugar to anything. When I want something sweet, fruit is usually sweet enough for me. I bought vanilla yogurt the other day, Dannon Light and Fit Greek with just 7 grams of sugar, as opposed to 27. I ate spoonfuls of it for two days. Just eating that little bit of sugar for two days made my body crave sugar just now. I’m out of the bread and sugar cycle for several weeks now so it makes it easy to notice it. It will fade in 3 days.
I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox twice to remove something from the cache
I was working on a friend’s website http://kathryn-flanagan.com and kept getting a repeating error message in Firefox saying “This account is suspended.” It was obviously stored in the cache since earlier this morning when I edited the name of the server. I cleared the cache, including cookies, and rebooted several times. Then I began getting the error message when I went to the site on my phone as well. I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox twice. I know now it was the DNS propagation process

A rapid manifestation
I’ve been moving furniture around again. I rearranged the living room to have a sitting area, a yoga-stretching-dance area and an area for the rebounder, exercise bike, HealthRider and hand weights. I have one rather large table I needed to reposition to give me enough room, but I had nowhere to put it. I never seem to have in this house a place where two people can sit facing each other to have a conversation. Before, the entire south wall — the fireplace area — was the altar area. All seating faced south. When Benny the Cat began traipsing thru the altar items set up in the fireplace, it was time to move them to higher ground. But where? Continue reading
I just had a big go round with a friend’s website. A year ago on my old web server at Lypha, his site and mine were the only ones hacked out of my more than a dozen sites –> My blog gets hacked. Mine came right back up, however his kept having a problem. Last month I changed servers and thought that was the end of it. It wasn’t. Long story short, my bestie fixed it, so http://fredgoodnight.com is back up. If you need a website guy, Gary Leggett is your man.
