Well, new tv was a dumb idea, back it goes; Cassadaga trip

Sunday January 4, 2009
Ok, so I hooked up the new tv and I don’t know what I was thinking…maybe it’s the extra 6″ diagonal, but my old tv just has a better picture.  Yes, this new tv is smaller and more compact but, well, if I have friends over to watch the Spiritual Cinema Circle dvds, the screen from the old tv is much easier to see.  So tomorrow back it goes to Circuit City.  Now I know that when the old tv finally goes out, if it ever does, I will replace it with at least the same size screen.

Today my plan was to skip church and get my billing finished and then drive the January Horizons Magazine to Cassadaga.  About 10:45 I did as much billing as I could stand, then ran out the door.  I stopped in at Unity Church of Melbourne for a quick fix at their second service, then drove on to Cassadaga.  There were a lot of motorcycles out on I-95 today and it was a beautiful day to be out in it.  I dashed through Cassadaga quick as a bunny and was back home by 2:30pm to finish invoicing.

Tonight’s dinner was a giant salad of romaine and parsley (almost equal amounts), a fresh home grown tomato, some slivers of red onion, black olives, garbanzos and some pumpernickel croutons, tossed in a dressing of 1/2 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp dijon, 1 tsp mayo with olive oil (half the fat of regular mayo and twice the taste of lowfat mayo) 1 tsp rice wine vinegar and 1/2 tsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp hot water to thin it out.

Tomorrow’s To Do List includes bank, post office, Petsmart, Circuit City, Office Depot, take magazines to Conscious Living Partnership and buy some fresh basil and bean sprouts at the Oriental Market on Aurora at Wickham, then come back and copy all my quarterly financial docs for my accountant.  Later this week I will  begin final layout for the February Horizons.   If you’ve got any listings, deadline is January 10th.
