Sunday Morning in Cassadaga, I get a message from Marla Chirnside

We drove Sunday morning to deliver the December Horizons Magazine to Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp and arrived just after the Colby Temple church service. We headed over to the bookstore for the afternoon message service held in the meeting room each Sunday at 12:30. I got a surprise message from Spirit through psychic medium Marla Chirnside – it was an emotional connection, uplifting, encouraging, personally relevant.  See Marla on the 10-28-13 episode of Florida Crossroads, and on the NBC Today Show (Cassadaga The Psychic Capital of the World episode) that aired last summer. In both film clips, she is shown giving a reading in the message service and then each reporter follows up with the person that received the message. Both individuals, a man and a woman, said that she was very accurate with her message.  I can agree.

On the trip to Cassadaga, twice while driving 70mph on I-95 north we heard a loud roar, like a scraping sound and pulled over to see what it was.  A front panel of the heavy plastic undercarriage had become dislodged and was dragging along the road.  My hero knew exactly what it was and what to do about it.  He snapped it back into place and we were on our merry way. It was a very windy ride north and everyone on the interstate was weaving like partygoers.  I gave everyone a lot of space.

It was a grey morning and the temp began dropping as the cold front moved in. It was 66 degrees at 11:00am but winds were from the east at 30 mph with 45 mph gusts.  My little Toyota Prius was hugging the road like a little tinker toy.  I was glad for a carload of magazines on the way up. The way back was more like a sailing trip without the extra weight to keep us anchored.  No way was I doing more than the speed limit in this wind.  Everyone else seemed to feel the same way, everyone very considerate of the other drivers sharing the road. A good Sunday to get home and do a little nesting before Thanksgiving later in the week. And oh, so much to be thankful for this year.
