My Transiting Saturn and how I learned from it

I get the most out of my astrological predictive transit program by consulting it when there is a significant event happening in my life. Right now, transitting Saturn (planet of discipline and restriction) is in Scorpio in my 7th house, aspecting my natal Chiron in Capricorn in the 9th house.  Chiron is known as the “wounded healer.” It represents our deepest wound, and our efforts to heal the wound.  Chiron points to where we have healing powers as the result of our own deep spiritual wounds. We may over-compensate in these areas of life.  I was able to use astrology to discover what my lesson was during a challenging time. Continue reading

Astrologically, a friend has the planet Uranus in her 12th house, with challenging aspects

A galpal is going through some confusing times and I did her astrological transits for her.  The transits are a predictive astrology report showing where the planets are now and how they are  aspecting the birth planets.  Right now she has the planet Uranus in her 12th house, wherein we are invited to face the evolutionary limitations created by attachment to our individuality and circumstances begin to arise, helping us let go.  It can be an intense and confusing time, but it can also be a real impetus to put hand to the plow and do what needs to be done, in surrender. Her interpretations read: Continue reading

Full Moon Ritual for releasing the things in our lives that no longer serve us

The Full Moon is a time of completion and celebration, when the Sun and the Moon are opposite. The full moon completes the cycle, representing death,  change, or tying up loose ends. It symbolizes the end chapter, shedding light on the things that we no longer need to hold on to.  Full Moon is an opportune time of  the month for purging rituals to take place. The light the full moon  offers illuminates those things that are interfering with our  spiritual advancements. Once we have become enlightened to ways that are blocking us, the easier to let go. The full moon ritual is for releasing or purging the things in our lives that no longer serve us such as addictions to food, drugs, or sex, relinquishing suffering involved in hurtful relationships, discharging physical and emotional pains, etc. Continue reading

Uranus goes direct today

Uranus goes direct today.  Due to its retrograde since summer,  it’s been bouncing around in my 12th house, aspecting my Pluto. My astrology reads “This transit sparks your urge for self- transformation and regeneration. Conflicts and drastic changes may come up for you. You are likely to have new spiritual insights during this period, or find that your will to be different and to find your own unique pathway forward is more powerful than usual. You are undergoing an important transition in your life, entering an entire new phase of existence, in which the habitual patterns and concerns of the old way of your world may vanish entirely or diminish in their importance.” ### end of mine Continue reading

In what part of your life is the planet Uranus causing chaos right now?

Wherever Uranus is in your birth chart is where you’re in for some cosmic surprises. Sometimes it’s liberating, and other times you’re thrown into utter chaos.  Uranus represents spirit and free will, breaking with law and tradition, and that which is sudden, unexpected and out of control in life. Uranus symbolizes unpredictable change, intuition, genius, individualism, independence, freedom, social reform, rebels, inventions, electricity, and the joining of the personal to the collective consciousness and the group mind.  In the physical body it rules electrical nerve impulses.   Uranus is known in astrology as the “Awakener,” since its aspects and transits bring sudden change and upheavals are a necessary break from restrictions in favor of a more liberated path.   The Uranus opposition occurs somewhere around the age of 40, when transiting Uranus opposes your own natal Uranus. Also known as the mid-life crisis, this is when people suddenly cast off whatever keeps them from fulfilling their destiny. You might get the courage to leave a stagnant relationship, or to suddenly follow a long-buried dream.  When I began my Uranus opposition, I discovered Abraham-Hicksbegan seeing new possibilities in my life and Horizons Magazine was born.    Uranus sets us free when we’ve become too rigid or structured. While its influence is disruptive, a crisis tends to sharpen the focus, make you feel more alive. Uranus can remind you of what you really want, not what you’ve been conditioned to think you want.  Uranus rules Aquarius and those with a heavy influence in their chart are born to shake things up.  For just $22, lI can do a Predictive Astrology report for you, which is a three month transit report, telling where your planets are now , what is being influenced and what you can be prepared for. I see Pluto is in my 9th house from 2004 thru 2017

“During this transit there is an emphasis on your philosophy, beliefs and educational values. Your belief systems may undergo a radical transformation in the course of this transit, ideally toward developing your own unique ideology based on a more conscious understanding of your own point of view rather than socially accepted beliefs received from others. You may become a zealous spokesperson for a particular philosophy or cause during this time, or be tempted to coerce others into accepting your own views. All in all it serves you to be less dogmatic. By moderating your expression you can bring your ideas to others with a better chance of acceptance on their part, and serve a more socially active purpose at the same time as you advance your own understanding.”
…Wow, I hope I don’t tick too many people off…
If you’d like me to do your astrological transit report for you, to tell where your planets are now and what that means in your daily life, you can order it here.

Age 28-31 and 58-61: The Saturn Returns

I have two very deep and close friends and we are all in the midst of soul work together.  One is going through his first Saturn return, one through his Uranus opposition, and I am in my second Saturn return.  They both have a 20 degrees Taurus rising sign, mine is 25 Aries.  There is a lot of transformation and alchemy happening, not all of it fun.  But what IS fun is that we all know we’re being tested and we’re surfing it and having a good time finding all the symbolism, coincidence and synchronicity between us.  I found this article online:

It has often been said that under strong Saturn transits one can choose between exhaustion and depression — some choice! It implies that because Saturn is often about doing real work in the mundane world that exhaustion is the better choice— hinting that “it’s better to wear out than to rust out”as Mark Twain once said. So folks who understand “just a little” astrology sometimes view the coming of a Saturn Return with raised eyebrows and deep sighs. But then a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.   Saturn brings to mind the two ancient Greek maxims, inscribed at the Temple at Delphi: “Know Thyself” and “Nothing in Excess.” One might think that by understanding and trying to live by these wise sayings one could avoid the great troubles in life. Perhaps they help; but still we seem to suffer. Our understanding of these words change as we age, but life often plays some nasty tricks on us in the meantime. Perhaps this is why we have Saturn transits—it’s a chance to get it right this time.

Ages 39-42: The Uranus Opposition in Astrology

Some friends and clients are having their lives shaken up in financial and emotional ways.  I looked first to astrology to see what the planets reflected back to me.  Each is going through their Uranus opposition, that time in our lives that society calls the mid life crisis. During this time, your entire life can be turned around and spun into a new direction.  When I began my Uranus opposition, I gained 30 pounds, discovered Abraham-Hicks, began seeing new possibilities in my life and Horizons Magazine was born.   Every little insight I had, I had to tell everyone.  The unfolding was so fascinating to me, how could it not be fascinating to everyone else, too?  The Uranus opposition can be an exciting and fun time, and a time to test your faith.  Mine changed my life, literally.  Continue reading

The planet Mars just moved into my 3rd house

As I checked my astrological transits, I see the planet Mars just moved into my 3rd house.   Mars is the planet of action and the expression of will through activity.  Mars represents strength, determination and achievement.  The third house is the house of communication, local travel, siblings, neighbors and education.  This means I will likely have increased activity in these areas during the 6 weeks of this transit.   The text for this transit reads: “Information comes easily to you and is available for use at this time.  Your communications and thought processes partake of an energetic nature.  During this transit, for about six weeks, you are adventurous and mentally active and may also find yourself inclined toward sarcasm, or there could be verbal conflicts with friends and relatives. You may need to work through being sharp-tongued or possibly indulging in gossip during this period of time. You are also especially dexterous and creative mechanically. It is important at this time to make good use of your available energy, rather than waste it on idle chatter, or in simply attempting to impose your ideas on other people.”   Good to know.  I’ll curb the sarcasm and idle chatter.

I Notice My Saturn Return

I’ve been catching up on sending out the astrological transits reports. While I’m doing everyone else’s, I check mine as well. That’s what I mostly use the transits for, to let me know when I’ll be on the other side of challenging times.  Here are some excerpts of my transits for this week.  It’s good to know this one will be over by the end of the week because I have felt unusually restless for no real reason: Transiting Saturn square natal Uranus. You may feel restrictions to your freedom during this period of time, or feel that you want to be breaking away from something, but find yourself unable to do so. Powerful feelings of restlessness may come up for you at this time, but you may feel stifled and unable to cope with them or break out of the rut you feel yourself to be in at the moment. This conflict is unsettling for a time, but it will pass as the transit moves on and eventually diminishes in its influence. What you can take away from the experience is a more focused awareness of your energy for freedom and the search for new horizons, in spite of remaining, and to whatever extent you do remain, in the limitations of your established place in the world.
