Car Seat Party Roadtrip to Cassadaga

car seat partyWe went on a fun road trip yesterday morning. It was rainy and overcast as we left Melbourne but it was clear by the time we crossed the county line. It was beautifully sunny in Cassadaga.  Seeing the 32909 weather, I almost postponed the trip for a few days. I went out to the garage and cleaned out the car, then thought to check the weather for the destination.  I’m glad I did, I saw it was clear today but would be rainy the next two days.  That convinced me!  I grabbed the man and off we went.  He’s the best road trip partner, we always have a blast.  First, a stop at Starbucks for Venti Americano decaf topped with a splash of soy milk.  I always ask them to shake the carton before they pour it.  Correction, we ordered half caf, not decaf, so I knew we were in for a lively morning.

Caffeine is like any other drug if you’re not used to it, it doesn’t take much to turn you on.  My occasional decaf makes me high for hours.  I made the mistake of wearing eye makeup –> you gotta love a man who makes you laugh to tears!  We sang, we chanted, we seat danced.  I’d select a cd at random and play a song from it, ranging from Bob Marley to Danielle Rose, from Barry White to ZZTop. We’d dance and sing along and chant rounds of mantra over the lyrics. I dig that he likes chanting as much as I do. I count my daily joy as an offering to God and it’s cool sharing that with a partner. We had a late lunch at a favorite local haunt then home for Beatles songs. I was reading lyrics upside down to a song I didn’t know and heard only once before *When We Were Fab* How does it get any better than this?
