A friend has let a lawsuit get out of hand without legal representation and he’s about to lose his house because of it. He thinks it’s not fair, and has sent long, long letters to the Court. I told him what he sent is not a legal response. He got advice online on what to send the Court. I read his formal response and he doesn’t cite relevant case law. I told him to go to the law library. He said finding info online is “easier”. I told him what he finds online includes people’s opinions of what they think the law is and someone else takes it as gospel and loses in court. PEOPLE: Don’t let that be you.
I WROTE TO RON: I just read your latest article: A License To Steal. Please don’t think what you’re doing is a legal response to the lawsuit, no matter what someone else tells you. Don’t jeopardize yourself this way. The law is clear – whether it’s unconstitutional is a fight for another place, another time. Please talk to an attorney now.
RON: I have zero confidence in lawyers; and I must follow my own heart.
ANDREA: Then at least go to the law library and read the applicable statutes and form a response in accord with them if you want to be taken seriously. Please.
RON: My response is literally loaded with case law at all levels of court decisions. It is mind boggling. Thank God for the Internet…much easier than law libraries, though still cumbersome. The system itself, however is very corrupt.
ANDREA: I read your formal response and with all due respect, you do not cite relevant case law. That’s why the internet is “easier” – it includes people’s opinions of what they think the law is and someone else takes it as gospel and loses in court. Don’t let that be you.
And Ron is no stranger to misinformation. Before she died, Ron helped Dr. Mary create a Trust using a paralegal to prepare the documents. Technical errors in the trust document gave lawyers a loophole to challenge the trust. That was the first red flag that he should have an attorney involved in the matter.
Instead of consulting with an attorney over what his rights were, since his home is at stake, he got all sidetracked with “the myriad of statutes and codes within the Uniform Commercial Code that makes up the admiralty court system,” laws, which he says, effectively undermine and overrule our human rights.
WTF? So instead of responding in a legal manner to the lawsuit, he instead floods the Court with long Notices of Understanding about Constitutionality and injustice of the system. In these Notices, he also educates the Court about freeman societies, strawmen, Religious Freedom and Restoration Act, Cosmic Justice, and his work to awaken the entire human society. But he does not file a legal response to the complaint at law.
Now he has another post at To Officers of the Court: Gotcha. I understand wanting to buck an unjust system.
I just believe in legally protecting myself in the meantime.
As they say: trust in God, but tether your camel.
