I ordered my rebounder exercise trampoline today

rebounderI ordered my rebounder exercise trampoline today.  http://www.walmart.com/ip/Marcy-40-Rebounder-with-Handle/17272577 The price was down from $66 to $39 and I couldn’t pass it up. Galpal Pam Jacobs has the same one and turned me on to it. The bf has one and I enjoy jogging on his. Very low impact on the joints yet still a good workout. When I walk in the mornings, I’ll jog a little ways every so often and the pavement has a lot less give than the rebounder does. Plus I haven’t jogged in 20+ years so the rebounder is a good way to ease back into it. Besides being back in the gym a few days a week, I’ve created a very effective work out station at home with the exercise bike and the Healthrider. The machines are next to the table that holds my hand weights, so I can do a quick circuit of training while waiting for vegetables to simmer or the timer to go off on my baked potato. I can tell my arms are much stronger last week when I bought the five gallon bottles of water, which weigh the same as the 40lb bags of salt I buy at the same time. When I’ve been working out, 40 lbs is nothing. When I’ve not been working out, 40lbs takes two hands. Many people my age have back problems and I’m blessed to have no health problems. I know from yoga that it’s important to keep the back and neck muscles strong, that we are only as healthy as our spine. The bf has some good plank exercises that I’ll be adding since they are hard for me to do. They engage the entire core as well as the quads and hamstrings. Facing down, facing up and sideways, planks get you strong fast if you do them. I’ve been making space in my living room to do more floor work. I have 4 chairs I could take out to the shed to open it up even more. When the space is sitting there staring at me, it’s easy to drop and do 20 minutes. I’m going to go move some chairs now.
