“You don’t want to save the world, you want to serve the emerging paradigm” Rev. Michael Beckwith

I have just been busy working. And shopping for a lawnmower.  I decided I want to do my lawn myself for awhile, I can’t seem to make it to the gym and treadmill since I stay tied to the computer, so doing my own yardwork and housework seems like a healthy habit to get into.  I bought a little Magic Blue vacuum cleaner a few months ago – when my housekeeper told me she had to stop working on her feet and have some foot surgery – and I actually started having fun cleaning my own place. Who knew?

New Kitty passed on.  I was glad to have him, although he was a daily reminder of Danny.  I cried every day until kitty died.  And I am not a crier!

I went to Publix first thing this morning and meant to just get some whipped cream cheese for my morning bagel, and some kitty plates and aluminum foil while I was at it.   I ended up getting some greek yogurt and some lowfat cottage cheese, some lite sour cream and lowfat cheese and flour tortillas and some chicken breasts on sale, a bunch of Lean Cuisines which were 50% off. I have been more and more preferring to cook at home and my weight has been the same although sometimes I get carried away making too many grilled burritos. I seem to lose weight when I eat chicken instead of sandwiches and pasta. Hmm I try to stay away from meat yet I can lose weight when I eat it (chicken, not red meat).

I came home and sprayed the potato vines. It took about an hour and almost 2 gallons. I have a good headstart keeping these under control this season. The weather has been nice so far this summer, nice and mild.

Premonitions for today:

  1. a yellow dress
  2. a tree with a swing
  3. man angry red lobster
