Tarot Card of the Day: 2 of Cups Reversed

Meditate upon the meaning this card might have for you since it showed up for you at this exact moment.
MEANING: The 2 of Cups often refers to romantic partnership even when reversed, but that is not its only connotation. It can speak of balance, friendship, joy, and sharing.  In general the reversed 2 is a card that says that things are likely to be going well but getting real and some course correction may be in order before it’s too late. Be careful that you are not causing problems in other areas of life by over attention to your love life. Continue reading

The importance of making connection before submitting your request

Being lazy today, I typed some messages to clients on my iPad and it was only hours later I discovered the messages had never been sent.  I found that out when I went to look for a response and saw no record of what I’d typed.  Apparently the iPad lost its wifi signal and I did not know it.  I thought, how often does that happen in real life: where I am asking for something specifically and in detail and waiting and waiting for a response and not getting it.  And all along the problem was merely that I’d failed to make the proper connection before submitting my request.  Isn’t that always the way!
UPDATE: I’m glad I did, since hours later I received notice from my tenant they would be moving, yet 24 hours later it was rented again.  I wrote about it here ->  And THIS is how we manifest with vibrational matching

To a friend coming up on the anniversary of losing a child

I thank you for sharing your journey with us as it happened. To let us be with you through the emotions and let us witness how you coped and managed. It was an inspiration to us all, seeing your steps helped us manage our own. Thank you, truly, and bless you. This is how we help each other.  This is what the internet is for, to grow our circle of beloved friends and family through sharing our lessons and our joys.

Masaru Emoto: Using conscious intention produces measurable effects

A famous study by Dr. Masaru Emoto demonstrates that the energy of our thoughts has a direct effect on the geometric structure of water molecules within ice crystal formations.  I find this most compelling since our bodies are made up of water, and the words we speak to ourselves and others gets embedded in our cells. I’m not nice and forgiving because I’m such a nice person. I just have awakened to the knowing that is how we program ourselves and that everything comes back to us because we are literally All One. Sure I forget for short spurts, but when I get my own backlash, I recall pretty quickly and correct my course. Here’s the article and links.  Continue reading

“I prefer by far the warmth and softness to mere brilliancy and coldness. Some people remind me of sharp dazzling diamonds. Valuable but lifeless and loveless. Others, of the simplest field flowers, with hearts full of dew and with all the tints of celestial beauty reflected in their modest petals.” ~ Anaïs Nin

Sleep changes everything

Last night I slept from 7pm-2am and then again from 7:30am until noon. I love when that happens! Sleep for me is usually two segments a day of 3-4 hours each, 12 hours apart. Continuous sleep rocks!  I spent 12 months off a regular sleep schedule. After awhile, it takes its toll.  I didn’t know this until I began getting restorative sleep on a regular basis.  Wow, what a difference. Sleep changes everything.

Tarot card of the day: 8 of Coins Reversed

Meditate upon the meaning this card might have for you since it showed up for you at this exact moment.
MEANING:  Whether you’re in the mood to put your “nose to the grindstone” or not, the reversed 8 of Coins tells you that in order to be successful and happy in the near future, you are going to have to play your part. Everyone fantasizes about “get rich schemes,” but the truth is, as they say, there is no free lunch. Do your part. You will be glad that you did. Continue reading

What Has Been Seen… by Jinnzania Le Fay

Jinnzania Le Fay writes:  When you are headed down the wrong path, we in the other realm, try to give you a hint. It might be a thought, a sound, even a scent. We will send you signs, whisper in your ears, give your stomach a gentle squeeze so that you will feel something is not right. You have a saying on Earth, “Always trust your gut”. When you reach this place you are nearly at the end of our ability to warn you. You have driven out of our range. There is only one more way left that we can give you a message, before you have to experience the painful situation again.  It is sight. Not necessarily physical sight, but “seeing” the situation for what it is. It is the clearest way that we can communicate with you, but it is also your last chance. After that, all we can do is watch you relive your lessons again. We cannot assist you unless you ask. Continue reading

We could lighten up considerably ~ Pema Chodron

Pema Chodron

“So with this person who is scaring us or insulting us, do we retaliate as we have done one hundred thousand times before, or do we start to get smart and finally hold our seat? Right at the point when we are about to blow our top or withdraw into oblivion, we can remember this: we are warriors-in-training being taught how to sit with edginess and discomfort. We are being challenged to remain and to relax where we are. The problem with following these or any instructions is that we have a tendency to be too serious and rigid. We get tense and uptight about trying to relax and be patient… it is helpful to think about the person who is angry, the anger itself, and the object of that anger as being like a dream.
