Domino has been seeing an ex boyfriend. Not with the goal of getting back together,  just hanging out as friends and coworkers. Their split last year was amicable and both are ok with it.  So last week out of the blue, her ex makes a pass and they get cuddly and it was a fun moment, then back to business and pals.  Two days later he’s treating her differently.  Her experience is the easy joking banter is missing. “Did we just mess this up,” she asked?  He says “No, we’re fine,” but he’s acting like somethin sup.  Continue reading →

When determining who your real friends are, recall the ones who put their money where their mouth was.  Consistently. Not the ones who talk about it incessantly.  The ones who do it consistently.

Opening the floodgates

I was vacuuming earlier and kind of tuning in to the drone of the machine and hearing a friend’s song playing softly in my head.  I stood for just a moment basking in the sound, which also had a Presence to it.  “Opening the floodgates,” I heard/thought.   I asked inwardly, “How does that phrase apply to me?” I’m shown visions of being filled to overflowing, filled to bursting, flooded with ecstacy. “What does this mean to me?”  In the next instant, I’m standing in that holy space of suspended animation and see, in my mind’s eye, my friend standing with fingertips over eyes. In the next breath, both hands come down at the same time. A river rushes through, as though a dam had opened the lock to allow the water to pour in.  It felt like liquid light.  The blinders/beliefs?/resistance removed (for he? for I?) and the way opening as never before. A moment later I was just Andrea vacuuming again. I wonder how it will unfold to delight us all?

UPDATE: A week later, a friend told me he posted on his page that the floodgates were opening for him. For me as well.  I love confirmation of the spidey sense!

UPDATE: One month later, on his birthday, he got a call his temporary job assignment had ended.  Exciting times ahead, every day is a new beginning.  May all his dreams come true.

A lot of mood swinging happening this week. People asking, “what’s going on in the stars to make this happen?” As an astrologer, I love questions like that.  As someone who knows how law of attraction works, however, the more important question becomes, “what fun next thing am I going to focus upon to keep me in a happy place?”  In my work, I am often dealing with emotional callers.  They rehash a past issue or incident rather than finding another thought to move on to. It was an interesting day of observing emotions. During one discussion, first the feeling of being on the roller coaster, then observing the ride without emotion attached to it.  All within maybe 6-8 minutes.  It really puts it in perspective.  A galpal has a new book out and business savvy Domino is offering to market it for her to national networks. Several red flags went off as Domino is known for coming on like gangbusters, yet not following through. I didn’t want to dash my pal’s dreams and expectations, since I know the experience of anyone else does not have to be your experience. To friends asking about a personal situation, we’re keeping our personal life off Facebook.   If our mission together is to help people connect with their soul, have fun and find their calling, when we stick to that, drama drops away.   Domino said “If you’re back together great and if you are still good friends and can move on that’s a wonderful thing. A lot of people end a relationship carrying bitterness around for ever. It’s so toxic for everyone.”  I agree. Part of my mission on planet Earth today is to model consciousness about truth,  resolution and happy endings.  I replied to her: “As a commitment phobe, using the words ‘back together‘ would make me feel trapped in an old pattern. Neither of us is the same person now.  I’d say we’re the best of friends in the process of rediscovery. We had to push the buttons we pushed to come back in a new way with eyes wide open, not only to what we are not meant to be, but to whatever we are meant to become. I am not avoiding the question, nor downplaying his role in my life, the story is we are good friends.  A brother on the path is a sacred relationship.“
