Stop labelling, you’re doing yourself a disservice

I posted “A Lightworker’s Creed”  on Facebook and Roomi shared it and got this response from a Christian friend: “Looks NEW AGE TO ME.” I responded: “With all due respect, how about instead of labeling it, read the words and consider the content. I don’t understand what offends you about it, other than the label YOU put on it:  It reads, “I learn so that others may also learn, I transform so that others may transform, I lighten my load so that others may change theirs, I learn to see so that others may also see, I forgave myself so that I may help others to forgive, I love myself so that I can bring out love in others. I live to give comfort, I live to shine loving light onto others, I live to heal, I live to give hope, I live for truth, I live to love.”  I understand the fanatics have made some people avoid anything “new age,” just as the fanatics have turned so many off to anything labelled “christian.” When we are so quick to label something rather than try to understand it, we do ourselves a disservice. If those exact words were printed in any version of the bible, the self proclaimed Christians would have no problem with it. John 10:16, Jesus said “Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I bring and they also hear my voice.”
