Yesterday was a day of house clearing in preparation for new moon and my solar return tomorrow.  I rearranged much of the furniture. I smudged the entire home.  The day before, I’d collected my crystals and stones, and rinsed them in sea salt and water.  Then I wrapped them in a scarf with sea salt and myrhh, put them in a medicine bag and buried them at the base of the oak I use as an outside altar.  Since they are the amplifiers in my home, I wanted a deep cleansing and a complete break with any old energy.  I have lots of them, large and small, so I had to dig a large hole.  I will dig them up after New Moon.  I can already feel my home filled with fresh energy, free flowing.  That could also be because it’s a beautiful, sunny, warm Spring day and I’ve got all windows and doors open to the outside.  I can hear the birds calling each other and the squirrels scampering on the roof and can see them chasing each other in the oak canopy overhead.  Life is good and the best is yet to be.
