Wednesday, February 18, 2009. I was driving by Circuit City at the Melbourne mall on the way home this evening and saw their giant sign CLOSING SALE, so I went in. They are down to only about 1/4 of a store worth of merchandise; they had no computers or monitors. I checked the prices on their remaining items and I saw that what they had marked 30%+ off was not discounted from their regular price, but from an inflated price they never charged for the item in the first place. Do stores think we don’t notice when they do this?
Circuit City’s closing sale prices are still high
