My transits today 4-4-11 for DOB 4-10-52 Miami, FL 6:20am

I love playing with astrology and each year before my birthday I make time to study my chart to see how the current planetary transits might be affecting me.  Right now there is a stellium of planets in Aries, right on top of my natal planets.  Like 6 little gang members stomping into my quiet, secret 12th house, Uranus and Mars are at 1 degree Aries, Sun at 14, Jupiter at 15, Moon at 21 and Mercury at 23.  They are right next to my Venus at 0 Aries, Mercury at 11, Sun at 20, Ascendant at 25, Jupiter at 25.  They all oppose my Libra planets Moon 21, Saturn 20, Neptune 20 in 6th house, where I see Saturn is right now at 13 degrees.  Whoa say the non-astrologers — what does that all mean?  For me, born April 10, 1952, it means there is a lot of subsconscious activity, a lot of activity brewing behind the scenes, and a whole lot of thinking going on.

In astrology, the 12th house has to do with happenings behind the scenes, things that are not out in the open.  Born with 4 planets in Aries in my 12th house, my life has evolved into a typical 12th house personality.  Most of the work I do is behind the scenes: as a publisher, as a psychic, as a voiceover talent and as a ghost writer.  I don’t get public credit for much of what I do, but I also don’t mind.  As Deepak Chopra said, “It’s amazing what can be accomplished when it doesn’t matter who gets the credit.”

I use astrology to help point out potentials I may not be aware of.  So when I checked my astrological transits just now, I see everything ganged up in my 12th house and look for what that might mean to me.  Here is what my transit report told me:

Uranus transiting 12th house: During this transit, lasting until December 2017, you may suddenly be forced into confrontation with secret and mysterious parts of your psyche that have been acting all along to influence your life. This transit can be an important time of testing how well you have integrated these areas into your reality.  You may experience some sort of transformation in the secret places inside yourself that symbolize the mystical urge for union with a higher power. It may be that these important although subtle aspects of your unconscious motivation have not been fully brought to your conscious awareness until now. During this period, you may therefore have the opportunity to access these hidden parts of your psyche and integrate them into your overall consciousness.

Transiting Mars in Aries:  You can be very moody and introspective right now, and not at all at home in this world. During this transit, which usually lasts about six weeks, you may tire easily, or feel sensitive and withdrawn. Also you may find yourself making the wrong impression at times, of feeling somewhat out of touch with surface reality that surrounds you, and with your normal level of functioning. You are involved with subtle emotions and secret mystical depths of your being. You may find that you work best at this time in love and understanding of humanity, and in service to the life of the planet.

Transiting Sun 12th house:  You may be moody and introspective right now, and feel not at home in the outer world. The twelfth house is concerned with subtle emotions and secret mystical depths. During this transit, you can be very inner oriented, summing up the past year’s cycle. As a result of the previous eleven months, your preoccupation during this period will be the transition to a different state of being, a new level of awareness. Releasing the old can feel sorrowful or unsettling, and it is helpful at this time to strive to be more aware of the process of change going on within you, to accept it rather than struggle against it. While you live you must eventually see the withering away of previous conceptions and modes of behavior, since all growth implies change, in order to make way for new outlooks.

Transiting  Jupiter 12th house:  During this transit, which lasts about one year, you experience a more spiritual and mystical part of your nature. The demands of ego are lessened at this time, enabling you to view life with more detachment and compassion. Your dream life may be quite rich and exciting, and you are more aware of your connection to the All That Is, something much larger than yourself. At this time, you may need to feel an emotional sympathy in order for your work to be satisfying, and you may find yourself being extremely sensitive to the needs of others. You may also be able to get in touch with the more subtle aspects of your innermost feelings at this time. It benefits you to take this time to mentally step back and reflect on the deeper purpose behind life’s surface events.

Transiting Mercury 12th house: During this transit your thoughts can turn to the deepest levels of your nature. You may feel poetic or visionary at this time, and have more compassion for other people than usual. This transit is concerned with subtle emotions and secret mystical depths, and you may also be very sensitive, and your feelings may be hurt by what other people say to you or you may feel very moody and introspective. It is a good time to reflect on the deeper meaning of existence, rather than the more superficial aspects of life.

Transiting Saturn Opposing Natal Mercury  in the 6th house:  This transit has the effect of slowing down and bringing a more concentrated awareness to your communication and mental process. It may be hard to think quickly at this time. Your written communication may also come slowly, during the course of this transit. You are forced be more deliberate and to really concentrate, but this has the benefit of increasing your focus, and you may wind up accomplishing more. Your thought process is also extremely well grounded and practical at this time. Every decision, every plan you make, has to pass the test of what is it for, in terms of concrete results. Your decision-making process will also come slowly, even painfully, and may tend to be negative or full of doubts about your ability to succeed. You must try not to be critical or disparaging in your thinking, just be sure of yourself before you go ahead. It is important not to bite off more than you can chew during this period of time this transit is in effect. It is also important that you take personal time for yourself in order to feed your own process, independent from the opinions of others around you, who may have their own perspective that isn’t a perfect match for yours. If you don’t have faith in your process it is likely that the world won’t either, but if you do believe in yourself, that is half the battle.

During this transit, lasting about two to three years, you have an orderly and analytic mind, thus concentrating your mental powers and your discriminative and critical faculty.  At this time you tend to be serious-minded and make an excellent worker, capable of putting extra effort into completing any task you have set for yourself. You also may have difficulties due to being overly critical at this time, and there is danger too of nervous disorder, or you may suffer from an irritable disposition. It is a good time for handling details, as long as you don’t spend too much time worrying over inconsequentials. During the course of this transit you may tend to be overly concerned about details in your outer life as a way of compensating for a lack of organization inwardly, or you may feel an inner anxiety regarding physical and mental disintegration. Your lesson during this period is to strive to bring your inner and outer life into more conscious harmony, and your mind and body also.

Transiting Pluto Opposition natal Uranus in the 9th house:  You may experience a discontinuity in your life at this time, as something that arises out of your deep unconscious suddenly comes into view, and a big piece of yourself changes. You will undoubtedly have profound spiritual insights as a result of the revelations of this period. This transit represents a dramatic transformation to the expression in your life of your personal freedom, your will to be different or your ability just to be uniquely yourself. You are discovering new facets of your urge for freedom and spontaneity during the course of this transit.

The big news of the summer is that there’s a Cardinal Grand Cross from June 26 through roughly July 13th: Jupiter in Aries, opposition Saturn in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn,  The 4th point is Sun in Cancer then Venus in Cancer until July 13.  These are in my 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th houses.  Should be an active summer.  I’ll keep you posted.
