A DETACHED AND LOVING SOUL

RETAINS POWER

I believe I am to be compassionate of what I consider good and evil, of light and dark. I’ve always held on to
a quote by the poet Rabindranath Tagore: “Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher
storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. That always sounded like something I believed in.”

When someone sees another's sad face and feels their pain, it is the pain of our own
sanskars or habits that we feel their pain with. When we see another's sorrow but
have no pain within ourselves, we give them the power to remove their sorrow.
Courage is inspired within them. If they are Peaceless and their sorrow makes me feel Peaceless, then even
though I may offer words of sympathy, what I feel reaches them first. Feelings are the deciding factor as to
what uplifts another.

Words are only useful once the healing of feeling has been inspired. A soul that is detached and loving retains
their power. It is detachment and then love which is why all human beings disempower each other. It becomes
tiring listening repetitively to the same person's tales of woe if you take the sorrow of the story. It is just a
story. It is the observer first and the loving nature of the soul secondly. If you are attached and loving, the roller
coaster of emotions will leave you in need of love, too. The Universe can heal any soul through you with your
own detached and loving stage.
