\"Frankie<\/a>My friend Frank Lorie just designed a new ring for me. I’ve known Frank since the mid 70\u2019s in Miami, FL. We had fun going back and forth on Facebook about the design of the ring. I got fun input from Facebook friends at each stage of the way. Frank would post videos for me, showing the choice of opals he has, and then show me the choice of bezels and shank.\u00a0 It was fun doing it this way so I can see exactly what he’s doing as he does it, and the video let the light play on the opals from all sides.\u00a0 He narrates the video by describing the stones and where they are from.\u00a0\u00a0 \"Frankie<\/a><\/p>\n

I chose a split shank band design and a fiery Boulder Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 Here you can see as it sits atop the band in the initial stage.\u00a0 To the right and below is the finished ring. I’m pretty excited! \"Frankie<\/a><\/p>\n

Holy cats! I wasn’t going to be home today during mail time so the ring\u00a0Frank Lorie<\/a> made me was going to be delivered tomorrow. I had to come home early for something and I literally just saw the mailman pull up and he handed me the package a day early!<\/em> This is a quick shot showing both rings on the same hand so that I could take the photo. I can get lost in the fire of these Opals they are so brilliant, Frankie I LOVE IT!!!!! It fits perfectly, the stone is more amazing in person, I love the setting, perfect size, you are a treasure!!!! I can’t saw WOW enuff!<\/strong> <\/span>Here the new one is on the left, on the right is the ring he made me in 2011. At 22 grams, it’s a beast! The new one is more delicate, encouraging me to display my lighter, softer side.<\/em><\/p>\n

Oh! He can make jewelry that you design, as well.\u00a0 Angel Share <\/a>asked him to make a pendant of their logo, which began with a child’s drawing, see below. \u00a0How cool to have something your kids drew on a piece of jewelry, right?
