There are two big stores, there is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.samash.com\/\">Sam Ash Music <\/a>on highway 50, which is where <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/pho-88-colonial-orlando-2\">Pho88 <\/a>a favorite Vietnamese restaurant is right down the street on the way home. We&#8217;ve pretty much seen everything Sam Ash has. The better store with a bigger collection selection is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guitarcenter.com\/\">The Guitar Center in Orlando<\/a> on Orange Blossom Trail. So yesterday my friend suggested we go to Sam Ash instead of the Guitar Center. <em>???<\/em> I&#8217;d gotten the impression from earlier conversations that the Guitar Center was where we should go next since there was so much we hadn&#8217;t seen and played with yet. I asked &#8220;Are you sure?&#8221; He said whichever you want, let&#8217;s flip a coin.<em> Whatever I want as far as a guitar store?<\/em> As I flipped the coin, I realized he was suggesting Sam Ash specifically so that I could have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yelp.com\/menu\/pho-88-noodle-orlando\/item\/soup-thi-tom-yum-soup\">my favorite most favorite tom yum soup of all time<\/a> for lunch on the way home! How sweet was that? I thanked him but I suggested the Guitar Center because I wasn&#8217;t attached to what I had for lunch (that day!) and Guitar Center was a much bigger, cooler place to shop and be a spectator. I like watching him from a distance since I miss most of his gigs. He can pick up anything and play it like a pro. He&#8217;ll look up and there will be someone standing there just watching him as he plays one after another. I like to hear all the techy conversations he gets into with the other musicians. It&#8217;s a side of him I only get to experience when we&#8217;re in the store, and The Guitar Center is a fun place to be a spectator. What a sweet considerate thought for him to minimize his entertainment experience so he could maximize my dining experience.
