August 5, 1948 – October 13, 2015<\/center><\/p><\/div>\n

A dear spiritual brother, a poet, a writer, a muse has dropped his physical body and taken his final Earth walk. Brian Jeffries August 5, 1948 – October 13, 2015.<\/strong> There is a Celebration and Paddle Out Saturday<\/strong> at 2:00pm<\/strong> at 295 Hwy A1A, Satellite Beach<\/strong> (Silver Sands Condo\/Sea Gull Park — just south of the Pineda Causeway (404) and north of Sea Park Avenue). You are invited to bring: a vegetarian dish to share, surf board, beach chairs, a story about Brian to share.\u00a0 Grief is work but it doesn\u2019t have to be grim. Sometimes when you check out of your physical body, your work takes on a new dimension.<\/p>\n

There is no death. When I\u2019m awake I know that. Sweet memories of sweet friends. When I tap into that Universal Mind, I know they live on and I don\u2019t give it a second thought. While, in my mortal body, I hallucinate they are gone and I am miss them. Funny how we let our minds play tricks on us, huh? There is no death. When I\u2019m awake I know that. Keep me awake, please.

Get used to death. God would not stop an acorn from growing into an oak, nor a tadpole from becoming a frog<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s been a year of losing friends. One friend commented, \u201cthis has got to stop.\u201d \u00a0I laughed so hard the water I was drinking squirted out of my nose. \u00a0No disrespect to anyone who\u2019s lost a loved one, but it’s time we began to embrace that death is part of the process.\u00a0 You can’t say “I\u2019ll throw noodles and sauce and cheese in the oven at 350 for an hour but OMG, I don\u2019t want to see lasagna at the end of it.” Embrace that death is part of the process. it’s not like it’s the actual end.<\/p>\n
