I\u2019m at a large, new apartment complex and I have just moved there.\u00a0 Susan Rizzo and some of the Summertown, TN Farm gang live there too and there is a gathering event going on, we are all out in the big back patio area for a meal.\u00a0 It looks like the patio\/bar\/pool area of a typical hotel resort, but no pool and it is groomed by nature rather than being manicured.\u00a0 Not run down looking, just the foliage not tended to, a lot of grass growing in the sidewalks and patios although they don\u2019t seem cracked for the grass to grow thru.\u00a0 Looks like it was supposed to be that way.\u00a0\u00a0 I pick up a plate, which is really a large wood and maybe stainless steel platter, almost a shallow bowl, and I put a chapati on it to save my place at table.\u00a0 I tear my chaptati in 3 parts and take a bite so someone knows the plate belongs to someone.\u00a0\u00a0 I go thru the food line but all that is available is meats or foods I don\u2019t care to eat, thinking they have no nutritional value so why waste the calories if I don\u2019t even want it.\u00a0 I see my plate and chapaties have been taken by someone but I don\u2019t know who, it is just missing, and I say nothing.\u00a0\u00a0 I decide not to eat, it\u2019s only $5 but there\u2019s nothing I can eat except the chaptati I took a bite of, and someone has taken my plate and my place at table anyway.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
I look for a way to get to the second or third level of the building or outdoor terrace, since that is more like what it is, and I can\u2019t find how to get there.<\/p>\n
Kathryn Flanagan is there and has a new apartment for $400 per month. I want to see it since I won\u2019t be eating, plus I\u2019m thinking if she has room for a roommate maybe I can refer someone.\u00a0 My brother Jerry is there and I ask him to stay at my apartment since my purse is there, while I go to Kat\u2019s.\u00a0 Suddenly we are outside and a man is saying \u201cI thought you said this was your cousin, why aren\u2019t you spending time talking to him\u201d and I said \u201che is my cousin\u201d and he said but you were talking to these other 2-3 guys and I said \u201cthey are my cousins also\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 I ask why does he care and try to be nice when I ask it.<\/p>\n
Kat and I leave and we head to her apartment, her leading, and she gets a little ahead of me . I turn a corner and I am at a landing to a stairway with the stairs missing.\u00a0 Ladders are there but they don\u2019t quite reach to the next floor, although I\u2019m willing to climb them to get up there, they look sturdy.<\/p>\n
On the floor above it, are people walking around a room and they don\u2019t want to help or direct me and say they don\u2019t want people up there in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
I go back down and this time I am not heading to see Kat\u2019s apartment, but rather I seek out the back door to go back to my own apartment.\u00a0 I walk thru a door and I\u2019m outside where a bunch of small plants have been thrown away and I pick them up to take them and plant them at my place.<\/p>\n
I look for my gardening tools to take with me and I see Susan and some of\u00a0 the other Farmies have left the spade and clippers outside just lying in the dirt in the middle of a digging project.\u00a0 I think how thoughtless they were to leave my tools outside like that.<\/p>\n
I take the tools and plants and go to \u201cmy side\u201d where my entrance is and I see there are 2 straight walkways intersecting with a circular walkway about an 8 feet circle with the straight walkways coming out of it.\u00a0 I see cigarette butts all over the place, and most of them have the paper part off so just the fluffy part can be seen and they don\u2019t appear soaked with tobacco but just white inch long fluffs.\u00a0 They are all outside the glass door that leads into the hallway to my apartment.\u00a0 I thought, \u201cdon\u2019t they know cigarettes butts are garbage?\u201d<\/p>\n
This man comes around the corner like from where I came a moment ago, and he has his arms full of flower plants he is going to plant where he has some already along the wall.\u00a0 I wonder if I am in his space.<\/p>\n
There seems no real places I can plant anything, but I find a small place and I try to use the spade and the handle is broken so it bends back and you have to use the spade part using your hand as the handle.\u00a0 Very inconvenient and I again think how thoughtless they were to break my tools and not let me know it was broken so I didn\u2019t have a surprise when I went to use it.<\/p>\n
