She tells me I have to go back to my room to sleep and I asked if I could sleep on the couch in the living room and she says no. she doesn’t’ have to be at work until noon and doesn’t want to tiptoe around me. I get up to walk to my room and look out the window and see a nice landscaped piece of yard, seemingly on the side of a hill, and the red mulch is down and it looks freshly done.

Cut to another scene and I’m at someone else’s place waiting for a ride home and apparently someone’s nephew is who I am waiting for. It is kind of like a party going on although it’s like just after daybreak. I’m aware I haven’t gotten to sleep yet and want to hurry and get home before 8am. A woman asked me if I am Catholic and I am surprised and don’t know what to answer since I don’t know what’s coming next, so I said,”No but I was raised Catholic.”

I then am walking down to the next house and on the way there is a body of water on the left of me and in front of me, like a jetty with rocks alongside the channel, and I can see several dolphins playing under the water. I go close and one of them places his bottlenose in the rocks and begins spinning, like showing off. Then two of them come out of the water, up on the rocks and begin playing with me, like it doesn’t bother them to be out of the water, they are just playing with each other and kind of playing for me, or I can see they are doing it for my amusement.

To the left I see another come out of the water and begin playing alongside the ocean side, not the jetty side in front of me, and then I realize he is really a wet tiger, and he’s playing also. I am trying to figure out if he’s just a wet tiger or if he’s a kind of water creature since his “claws” are kind of webbed looking and the “claws” are really seaweed hanging from them. I watch them a while then remember I am on my mission to find my ride and get home, so I continue on past them.

Then I am in a house standing like a waitress does, at a booth where two maybe 20’s something guys are sitting and talking about pot. One is trying to think of the name of something he is describing and I said “like G13?” Then a woman comes walking up and give me a tour of the house while I wait for my ride to be ready, and it’s a big nice house and I come to a room where her sister is, and she’s looking out the window at the sea. There are windows on the left and front of the house and I realize this room is at the point of the sea and she’s getting some wavesplash up against the house every so often. When I realize it is the ocean and not a river, I suddenly don’t feel safe and now the waves are coming a little higher and closer and like a storm coming on.

I turn to walk out of the room, I remember thinking about being scared more than feeling the actual fear in my chest, but I wanted to be away from the windows and at home in my own bed, asleep. The first woman returns and says, “it’s our birthday today” and I can see they are twins, although one is heavier and very natural looking while the first one is sllm, more fashionable and wore a log of makeup, rather garish really. They are maybe 70-80 but fully abled and healthy, although the sitting sister might have been in an elaborate wheelchair that looked like a recliner kind of chair.

Cut to next scene and I am sitting with Sally T. as she is online at Match.com showing me her recent matches and making comments about them. I asked if she thought she was playing with trouble being recognized on Match.com and someone telling her mate, but she didn’t want to talk about that. I did not get the impression they were broken up nor that they were going to be.

###

End of dream

Yesterday was good, I sweated myself out twice from working outside in the muggy heat, but sweated off 2 lbs so that was good. We got the magazines finished, I went over to Beth’s (where they deliver the mags) at 4pm and we were done by 5:30 since there were 5 of us (at the end).

I like to set up two tables, one with stacks of mags and the big polyvinyl envelopes we stuff them in to, and two people as stuffers. The second table is where the stuffers place their filled and sealed envelopes, and then a 3rd person places the label and postage strip on the bag. Then a 4th person takes the labeled bag and places it on the pallet, which the post office later picks up. That keeps the table clear for the label person, so they can do lots at a time. The 4th person also keeps the first table supplied with magazines. Also, half the ones we mail out are stacks of 25, so the 4th person also cuts the straps off the stacks of 50, and separates them into stacks of 25 for the stuffers.

I am usually person 3 and 4. Only Beth and I are allowed to do the labels and postage strips, since we can read the secret zone codes and know to keep them matched up.

Also yesterday I made a new discovery. My Toyota Prius will, while it is turned off in the garage, make all sorts of little sounds sometimes as it goes thru its charging cycle or whatever it’s doing. The manual talks about it but I forget right now what it is. But yesterday, for the first time in the two weeks I’ve had the car, it somehow triggered my garage door opener and closed the door. I keep the garage door open about 8-9″ for the kitties to come and go (I have a cat door in between the garage and inside). And it shut the door. I’ve Googled to see why that might be, but haven’t found anyone else writing about it yet.

What also I noticed though was on my way home from doing the mags, and this was hours after the garage door shut on its own, as I was rounding the corner to my house, I opened the little overhead holder that my garage remote is in. And I could see the red light on it flashing, as if I was clicking it to open my door. And it was doing it by itself. Which is probably what happened hours earlier also, which caused it to close the door by itself. So I thought maybe it’s a battery issue and so I replaced the battery in the garage remote. And 20 minutes later I heard the garage door close by itself again. I thought maybe because I store the remote in the overhead holder, so I moved it to the glove compartment. I don’t want the kitties to be locked out of their food and water while I’m at conference.

It did it again about 4 hours later, and as I took the remote control out of the glove compartment, I saw that the red light was again flashing. I had the thought it might just be that specific remote, so I took the battery out of it, and put my two extra remote controls hanging on my purse, and put my purse on the table in front of me, so if it happens again, I will be able to see the lights flashing on the remote controls.

I’m at what I guess is Mom’s house and on a sofa I what I guess is her room and we’re both reading and dawn is approaching so I am preparing to go to sleep, right there on the sofa.
