Izzy DaBig Giant Kitty<\/p><\/div>\n

My big kitty Izzy passed away this morning.\u00a0 What a blessing, he\u2019s now out of discomfort and on to better times. What a caterpillar calls death, we call a butterfly.\u00a0 The friend I got him from said, \u201cHis mother passed away at 7 from a heart defect common to mainecoons. I\u2019m glad you had almost double the time with him. He was a beautiful, gentle giant and will be missed.\u201d\u00a0 Aho, my big kitty, until we meet again.<\/p>\n

Her Perception Upon Dying<\/strong>
\nAs you watched my body lapse and fail,
\nI watched Creation unfold in all its Glory;<\/p>\n

As my body contorted as though in pain,
\nall I felt was joyful bliss at glimpsing what lie beyond.<\/p>\n

My final tears were not in frustration of incapacity,
\nthey sprang forth in welcome relief and freedom<\/p>\n

My lack of response concerned you so
\nyet I heard every word and felt every kiss<\/p>\n

While my tongue was quiet, my mind\u2019s eye was filled
\nwith sights and sensations of such Loving immersion
\nthat no words could begin to describe it; so I didn\u2019t even try.<\/p>\n

Rather, perhaps selfishly, I chose to slip my grateful shell of a body
\nand merge myself in the brilliant Light and Radiance
\nof that overwhelmingly loving and comforting Presence
\nthat so benevolently graced my final days.<\/p>\n
