Whew, that was close. I was down to 7 stretched canvas so I just ordered 17 more. Is that obsessive thinking, scarcity consciousness or just good planning?\u00a0 I like to have several on hand in different sizes, 8 x 10, 9 x 12, 11 x 14. Right now 9 x 12 is my favorite size.\u00a0 Office Depot can scan up to 11 x 17 on their flatbed scanner, and I haven’t needed anything larger yet. I like to track photo progress of what I paint.\u00a0 Here is another watcher at the window I’ve been working on.\u00a0 It’s been slow going since I’ve had a head cold this week that I let sap my energy and my creativity.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n

I tho0ught I’d just snooze around the house and paint while I was down, but I didn’t have too many wide awake hours.\u00a0 I love it when I sleep a lot, no matter the reason!\u00a0 I’ve taken Benadryl each day for the sniffling and sinus toothache, and kept sipping spicy soups to help the drainage.\u00a0 Here’s –> the recipe for a versatile, basic Asian inspired soup<\/a> that I like.\u00a0 I keep lemon grass, ginger, tamarind paste and kaffir lime leaves in the freezer so I can make this whenever I want.\u00a0 I just add fresh mushrooms, snow peas, shrimp or tofu. I like having my favorite soup anytime I want without having to pay $7.95 a bowl for it.<\/p>\n

I bought a Bissell PowerFresh Hard Floor Steam Mop.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 I opened it tonight and tried it out and it cleans great!\u00a0 I had carpet until 1997.\u00a0 I had no idea how toxic an older carpet could be until my home was rid of it.\u00a0 It was a good move laying a vinyl tile floor. With cats and my own foot traffic in and out of the house and yard and garden all day long,\u00a0 I sweep or vacuum every few days.\u00a0 I like the act of cleaning my floors and this will make it more fun.<\/p>\n

Now it’s time for some soup and another nap.\u00a0 This, too, shall pass.<\/p>\n
