\"\"<\/a>It’s June already!\u00a0 How cool is that?<\/em> Well, not very cool anymore, as the weather heats up.\u00a0 Temps have been in the mid 80’s and humidity about 75%, and very pleasant.\u00a0 I began turning my a\/c on a couple of weeks ago.\u00a0 I love the fresh air, but not the humidity.\u00a0 I like a fan blowing on me all the time; maybe that’s a menopausal thang.\u00a0 Yes, when is that going to end anyway???\u00a0 I’ve been hot flashing for 15 years.\u00a0 Enough already.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hey, I snapped a cell phone pic on Saturday as I was driving.\u00a0 I am not a fan of my full face, no-bangs look, but in the hair-growing-out process I need to keep it out of my eyes.\u00a0 As soon as the bangs drop below my chin, I can stick my hair behind my ears and be done with it.\u00a0 As the weather heats up, it is growing faster.\u00a0 I’ve learned that it keeps it stronger and healthier when I snip the ends every few weeks, and when it’s strong, it grows faster.<\/p>\n

Isn’t it funny how that works?\u00a0 Cutting something because you want more of it?\u00a0 Cutting hair to keep it long; pruning plants to make them grow; giving in order to receive.\u00a0 Saturday I went to the big garage sale at The New Way POD<\/a> (what a blast!) and saw this great lava lamp.\u00a0 I picked it up and turned to ask how much it was and – not knowing it was in 2 parts – I held on to the base while the top glass part fell to the floor.\u00a0 Remarkably, the glass didn’t break, but the plastic seal did, so the liquid spilled out all over the floor.\u00a0 I fully believe that if I break something, it’s mine, and I was going to buy it anyway. It was just a couple of bucks, so I offered twice the amount as a donation to the garage sale cause.\u00a0 The immediate response was, “Oh no, you don’t have to buy it.\u00a0 No, that’s too much to give<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

I had to laugh.\u00a0 Here we are, everyone working on prosperity consciousness, both parties wanting to give and neither party wanting to receive!\u00a0 Too funny.\u00a0 And this with just a $5 item.\u00a0 I wondered where else in our lives do we keep some big, wonderful something from flowing into our experience simply because won’t accept what the Universe is trying to hand us?<\/p>\n

I’m pretty good about remembering to keep the flow going, because I know how important it is to let loose of something in order to keep more coming in.\u00a0 If I don’t accept your gift, then I am stopping your flow and mine.\u00a0 So the kind and generous thing to do is to let people give you their gifts.\u00a0 Learn to graciously accept.\u00a0 Keep it all in the flow.<\/p>\n

And what about when people change intentions and break contracts and don’t live up to their part of the bargain?\u00a0 You will drive yourself crazy if you let yourself get hung up there.\u00a0 Don’t use what someone else does or doesn’t do as your excuse to introduce resistance into your vibration.\u00a0 It will only serve to stop your flow.\u00a0 Remember that you attracted that from them, so clean up your own vibration, let it go and get on with the next step.\u00a0 Attract something different next time.<\/p>\n

I’ve got a new opportunity in every moment to keep attracting what I’ve been attracting, or to attract something new.\u00a0 It’s my choice.\u00a0 My choice of what priorities to focus on and what thoughts to think in order to find and maintain that focus.\u00a0 Sound hard?\u00a0 That’s just another thought.<\/em><\/p>\n
