{"id":2976,"date":"2009-05-28T03:16:45","date_gmt":"2009-05-28T08:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=2976"},"modified":"2014-04-12T05:38:23","modified_gmt":"2014-04-12T09:38:23","slug":"lazy-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/lazy-thursday\/","title":{"rendered":"Lazy Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>A lazy Thursday. <\/em> Not lazy for me, as I will be running around doing things starting early, which means I had better get to bed quickly.\u00a0 It&#8217;s 4:00am as I type this.\u00a0 So the lazy part is me sharing some of the past week&#8217;s Facebook posts, with some after thoughts.\u00a0 I kind of like keeping track of my Facebook posts, it&#8217;s like a periodic journal of what was on my mind throughout the day.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>working busily away on June layout, watching the giant philodendron outside my office window &#8211; the rains brought out 2 new huge white blooms\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">the past week of rain has made the philodendron grow as tall and wide as my office window.\u00a0 Neat!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>is making some onion, carrot and celery soup for lunch. Adding fresh basil, rosemary and tomato from the garden.<\/p>\n<p>I went crazy with my onion, carrot, celery, tomato, rosemary, basil soup and added a handful of spinach, and a splash of apple juice to sweeten. I can feel it healing my body!\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">This sounds simple but was a really good soup, with cumino, oregano, sea salt, black pepper and garlic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>snacking on a couple of leaves of romaine. Lettuce could be a good tv snack. One leaf at a time. Crunchy. Or individual carrot matchsticks. hmmmm\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">This gives my hands something to do and tricks my mind into being satisfied<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>tried a nap, no avail, lots of work to do, tired of being on computer, no energy for a sundown walk on the trails, whine, whine whine. Just do it Andrea, continue crossing off that To Do List. What&#8217;s the big deal??\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I can be such a procrastinator<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I just learned that people will come read my Facebook Wall just to see who I&#8217;m talking with and what everyone on my feed is saying. That&#8217;s funny. Now whose Wall should I go look at first?\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Now this was fun!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>is done with work for the night. Psychic prediction: there is watermelon in my future.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> I was right,\u00a0 Dang, I&#8217;m good.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jai Guru Dev, nothing&#8217;s gonna change my world.<\/p>\n<p>All we see in this world are reflections and reactions<\/p>\n<p>has had a hectic, busy, productive day and is bushed. Time for some veggie soup.<\/p>\n<p>too lazy to heat soup, having watermelon and grapes for dinner<\/p>\n<p>5:00am waking up and getting in to it *life doesn&#8217;t get any better*<\/p>\n<p>will be hiring someone to enter all our websites into the search engines, and thought I&#8217;d let you guys know first. Don&#8217;t send me a bunch of SEO marketing hype, just send me a quick and brief bid *thanks all*<\/p>\n<p>Show others that your happiness is subject to your own choice, not their behavior.<\/p>\n<p>is eating okra and tomatoes with corn *oh, so good*<\/p>\n<p>dang, another long day &#8211; time for a break and a lap around the property<\/p>\n<p>lots of cardinals flying around under the oak canopy here, I see two sets of youngsters plus their folks<\/p>\n<p>just had an awesome sandwich: Ezekial toast, grainy mustard, tomato, sauteed red pepper, and spinach. Very good.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of meat or cheese on a sandwich, I like to use grilled or sauteed bell pepper or mushroom slabs. Or cut a fresh tomato real thick for a meatier bite. And I like spinach instead of romaine; stone ground mustard and a dense, toasted, whole grain bread.<\/p>\n<p>Oh! Carrot dogs! Saute whole carrots in butter and brown sugar for a few minutes, to cook the outside, leave inside crunchy. Serve in hot dog bun with mustard, relish, onions, or wrap up in a romaine leaf.<\/p>\n<p>is working away. Lovely day out there. Mag is almost done. I mowed my lawn!<\/p>\n<p>Mag is done, final proofreaeding <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(good grief just noiced this typo &#8211; proofreading, indeed)<\/span> to go. But first, a nap of a few hours is in order. And, for lunch? I see more sauteed bell peppers on toasted Ezekial bread with grainy mustard, thick tomato slices and spinach. Maybe onion and dill pickles, if I dare.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">I dared<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s everyone doing today?<\/p>\n<p>5-27-09 some help please &#8211; and this is not a trick to make you go to the website.
