{"id":2903,"date":"2009-05-15T04:26:45","date_gmt":"2009-05-15T09:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=2903"},"modified":"2009-05-15T04:26:45","modified_gmt":"2009-05-15T09:26:45","slug":"friday-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, May 15, 2009.\u00a0\u00a0<em> Final layout is almost done on the June <a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\" target=\"_blank\">Horizons Magazine.<\/a><\/em> Wow, I am late finishing it this month.\u00a0 I woke up this morning at 3:30 am, did my meditation and now, just 2 hours later, I am going to go back to bed for a few hours. After my little tummy bug bout on Monday,  I&#8217;ve skipped my evening yoga this week to conserve my energy.\u00a0 That sounds funny as I type it &#8211; <em>skip <\/em>my <em>yoga<\/em> to <em>conserve<\/em> energy??\u00a0 I do some stretches here and there all throughout the day, but I&#8217;m not doing anything inverted or taxing.\u00a0 I know that simple yoga stretches can really work your muscles, and I&#8217;m all for daily yoga.\u00a0 It keeps my muscles long and limber, and keeps me sane.\u00a0 So it&#8217;s essential for me to do some form of it off and on throughout the day, to keep the energy lines open inside my body.<\/p>\n<p>I started back yesterday eating every few hours and am now fully hydrated and feel fairly fueled.\u00a0 Yesterday for lunch I made an onion, carrot and celery soup, sauteing the vegetables to a caramel before adding fresh basil, rosemary and tomato from the garden.\u00a0 Then I added some vegetable broth and a few butter peas; forty minutes later it was delicious.\u00a0\u00a0 When I am feeling low energy, an intense veggie and greens soup fixes me right up.\u00a0 I drank the broth on and off throughout the day, and had some watermelon and a slice of Ezekiel toast with tomato.\u00a0 I&#8217;m glad now that I made enough soup to have some for today as well.<\/p>\n<p>Now, for me, time to go back to bed for a couple of hours and then get up to finish the mag.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve got just 186 emails left to go, only about 30 of them are ads for the June magazine.\u00a0 The rest are just awaiting response or action after I get my job to the printer.\u00a0 I usually run about 100 emails a day behind, but I get through them pretty quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Life is good!<\/p>\n<div id=\"s-share-buttons\" class=\"horizontal-w-c-circular s-share-w-c\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php?u=https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Share to Facebook\" class=\"s3-facebook hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?text=Friday morning&url=https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\"  title=\"Share to Twitter\" class=\"s3-twitter hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/share?url=https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\"  title=\"Share to Google Plus\" class=\"s3-google-plus hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Share to LinkedIn\" class=\"s3-linkedin hint--top\"><\/a><div class=\"pinit-btn-div\"><a href=\"\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/create\/button\/\" data-pin-do=\"buttonBookmark\"  data-pin-color=\"red\" title=\"Share to Pinterest\" class=\"s3-pinterest hint--top\"><\/a><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<script type=\"text\/javascript\" async defer src=\"\/\/assets.pinterest.com\/js\/pinit.js\"><\/script><a href=\"mailto:?Subject=Friday%20morning&Body=Here%20is%20the%20link%20to%20the%20article:%20https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/friday-morning\/\" title=\"Email this article\" class=\"s3-email hint--top\"><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, May 15, 2009.\u00a0\u00a0 Final layout is almost done on the June Horizons Magazine.
