{"id":1627,"date":"2009-02-03T09:45:49","date_gmt":"2009-02-03T14:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=1627"},"modified":"2009-02-03T09:45:49","modified_gmt":"2009-02-03T14:45:49","slug":"i-unknowingly-create-more-work-for-my-brother","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/i-unknowingly-create-more-work-for-my-brother\/","title":{"rendered":"I unknowingly create more work for my brother"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday February 3, 2008\u00a0 The last many years I&#8217;ve gotten used to working behind the scenes with authors and publicists and most of our contact is via email.\u00a0 Because the majority of the magazine layout process takes place months in advance, I&#8217;ve learned to ask months in advance for anything I need from them: author images, book jackets, excerpts.\u00a0 So as my brother is doing a monster overhaul on a couple of projects, I&#8217;ve inadvertently put him under pressure. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We do a lot of email back and forth, sometimes dozens a day.\u00a0 he sends me screen shots of features of new programs and asks me to choose style and design preferences.\u00a0 Sometimes it takes me a week or more to be able to answer a technical email he has sent me.\u00a0 Thus I am answering it a week or more later, after he has moved on to other projects.\u00a0 I never think about that.\u00a0 I just figure he&#8217;ll put it in line to do when he gets the time next.\u00a0 But no, not my brother!<\/p>\n<p>As much as I complain about the sensitive personality of the Cancer male, those I have known born under the sign of the crab tend to really care about the well being of others and want to add to it.\u00a0\u00a0 It&#8217;s in their nature.\u00a0 Two of my favorite former mates were Cancer males and, being an Aries x5 who loves freedom and independence, I felt smothered by both of them.\u00a0 In all fairness, I feel smothered easily &#8211;
