{"id":15383,"date":"2011-06-03T09:47:26","date_gmt":"2011-06-03T13:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=15383"},"modified":"2011-06-03T09:49:26","modified_gmt":"2011-06-03T13:49:26","slug":"nothing-was-really-wrong-i-just-needed-to-change-my-perception","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/nothing-was-really-wrong-i-just-needed-to-change-my-perception\/","title":{"rendered":"Nothing was wrong after all, I just needed to change my perception and discard an outdated prior belief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK so yesterday I contacted technical support for my bookkeeping program upgrade from MYOB to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accountedge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Acclivity\/Account Edge<\/a> and told them my problem. \u00a0My problem was I could see in the Recurring Transactions List an amount in the far right column. \u00a0In the old program, an amount there would signal me that there was a balance due. \u00a0That&#8217;s not what it means in the new program though. \u00a0Now it just means that&#8217;s the amount of the recurring transaction. \u00a0So I didn&#8217;t need technical support to tell me how to fix anything, I just needed them to tell me to change my perception and\u00a0not look at the new info and process it with old beliefs. \u00a0Isn&#8217;t that the way it always is?
