{"id":1098,"date":"2009-01-03T04:35:14","date_gmt":"2009-01-03T09:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=1098"},"modified":"2016-08-19T08:27:30","modified_gmt":"2016-08-19T13:27:30","slug":"creating-momentum-to-move-in-a-new-direction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/creating-momentum-to-move-in-a-new-direction\/","title":{"rendered":"Creating Momentum To Move In A New Direction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MOMENTUM\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If I have\u00a0 no momentum going, it\u2019s tough to head in a new direction.\u00a0 To get anywhere, I need momentum.\u00a0 I need to be there in the moment &#8211; consciously &#8211; to get me there.\u00a0 Inspiration propels me in a particular direction, but only I can provide the momentum.\u00a0 So when I feel stuck or frozen in place, that is my signal to start heading somewhere &#8211; anywhere.\u00a0 And in my desire to do something &#8211; anything &#8211; I will be led to new choices and new opportunities.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Do you ever feel you are twins taking turns at being alive?\u00a0 One wakes and creates while the other waits to create.\u00a0 The one who waits may lose inspiration by the time it\u2019s her turn to create, so it\u2019s important to integrate the two into One.\u00a0 The one who waits may be the Playful, Creative one, and if she is kept waiting too long by the Working one, she may lose her desire to play and create at all.\u00a0 Then she works 20 hours a day because it&#8217;s all she knows anymore and she thinks her life is fine and doesn&#8217;t realize she&#8217;s missing an entire world of exciting possibilities that she would have a blast being involved in. And it would also fuel her work that she thinks is so darned important.\u00a0\u00a0 There are many parts of us all waiting to take their turn at Life and so we need to allow each of them sufficient expression in order to fully integrate our personality and become One with all.\u00a0 Denying any facet of ourselves its true expression serves only to limit the rest of ourselves.
