In June I kept the a\/c on 78 and the bill was $78. In July I kept it on 77 and the bill was $81. In August I kept the temperature on 76 and the bill is $86. I have 1500 square feet under air and I&#8217;m under some big honking shady oaks.\u00a0 I also belong to Florida Power &amp; Light&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpl.com\/business\/savings\/on_call.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">On Call Service<\/a>, so I currently get a $9.50 per month credit.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve belonged for 15 or more years and never once noticed a disruption in service.\u00a0 I got a new a\/c system in 1998 and my bill dropped significantly after that &#8211; new technology I think.
