He was the only tech who ever mentioned the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.verizonwireless.com\/support\/samsung-update-repair-assistant\/\">Samsung Software Repair Assistant<\/a>. \u00a0I ran it and at first glance it seems to have fixed the dropping wi-fi and video\/photo upload issues. When Curtis first mentioned the <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Factory Data Reset<\/span>, I was Aries-quick to butt in and tell him I&#8217;d already done everything the previous techs\u00a0had told me to do before I called him. He was courteous yet wasn&#8217;t going to let me off the hook. He began walking me through the paces. And he was right. No one had ever mentioned the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.verizonwireless.com\/support\/samsung-update-repair-assistant\/\">Repair Assistant<\/a> and that was one of the first things he said we should try.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>I got a metaphysical and spiritual lesson from it also.<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0I bought the expensive Galaxy S5 since I thought instead of spending $150 on a phone that lasts two years, I&#8217;ll spend $499 and get a killer phone that will last longer. \u00a0A year in I began to have problems. \u00a0I see now the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.verizonwireless.com\/support\/samsung-update-repair-assistant\/\">Repair Assistant<\/a>\u00a0may have fixed them, but no one at the Verizon store nor Verizon\u00a0online mentioned it to me. <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I have to take responsibility for attracting willing &#8212; but under-educated &#8212; helpers. <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">The lesson to me was, there may be good people standing ready and willing to help me, but if they don&#8217;t know &#8212; and they don&#8217;t know they don&#8217;t know &#8212; how helpful will it be? \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I know I attract my experience to me by virtue of where I&#8217;m resonating vibrationally. \u00a0While I may THINK I am vibing in a good place, an easy, free-flowing of good to me place, I may not be.<strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"> I always know what I&#8217;m vibrating in harmony with because\u00a0I\u00a0see evidence of it in front of me in physical life, in the form of the people I come in contact with and the situations and events that unfold before me.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 If I attract , for instance, the easy purchase of \u00a0a killer phone everyone loves, that shows me I&#8217;m in sync and heading in a good direction. If I then attract, for instance, issues with the phone, <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>I need to look to me to see what it is IN ME that makes me a vibe match<\/strong> <\/span>with under educated, under trained, and\/or under informed but pleasant and willing helpers, \u00a0Hmmmm. That means ask myself,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">In what area of my life\u00a0am I under educated, under trained and under informed? And how might that be putting through unnecessary aggravation those I seek to help? \u00a0You, too maybe?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I can&#8217;t believe I could have fixed the video and wi-fi issues a year ago if I&#8217;d known about it. I was ready to leave both Verizon and Samsung at the end of the contract convinced of a negative result. I can&#8217;t attract other than I am, but I can wake up a little more and change where I am. Food for thought. The good news is my Samsung Galaxy S5 seems to be working fine and now I know that fix.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>UPDATE: JULY 10, 2016, 3 DAYS LATER, IT&#8217;S DROPPING WI-FI AGAIN &#8211; wah!<br \/>\nJuly 14, 2016 they are sending me a replacement phone<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Original Post: The June 5, 2016 Problem with My Galaxy S5<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I just did a factory reset of my Samsung Galaxy S5. After a year, I had to replace it because it kept dropping Wi-Fi. <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>They sent me a refurbished one so I have no idea how old it is but the voice to text on it is very poor.<\/strong><\/span> Whether it is in email or in messaging or in Facebook posts, it will capitalize random words and it will get many words wrong. I&#8217;ve used my voice professionally for years so I know how to dictate clearly. <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">It also won&#8217;t let me post directly from the video to Facebook, the videos are all pixelly looking. Although the photos are not large, it has to reconfigure them<\/span><\/strong> every time I want to email one. I spoke to several Verizon techs and no one knew the fix. \u00a0One tech, Candace whom I could never reach again, was able to walk me through all the settings to make sure they were correct. \u00a0No one else did that and it fixed a couple of problems. Please Verizon, have Candace train the other techs. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">I&#8217;m looking forward to May 2017 so I can replace this <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">phone<\/span><\/strong> with one that can handle heavy voice to text since my phone has to be a work horse. I thought spending this much on a phone would be a real upgrade and it has not been. Great camera though. I&#8217;d like something larger format because it is less important for me to have a phone small enough for a pocket than it is for me to have easy access to a screen I can read clearly and respond back right away. I&#8217;d likely get the insurance as well since if I had the insurance this time I could have replaced it with a new phone rather than a refurbished one. <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">The refurbished phone they sent me had more problems than my original phone which only dropped Wi-Fi<\/span><\/strong>.
