{"id":41229,"date":"2008-06-23T00:40:40","date_gmt":"2008-06-23T05:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=41229"},"modified":"2015-06-04T00:41:33","modified_gmt":"2015-06-04T05:41:33","slug":"playing-with-the-wacom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/playing-with-the-wacom\/","title":{"rendered":"Playing with the Wacom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have had very little time to play with the Wacom writing pad.\u00a0 Apparently the magic is in the software.\u00a0 Sharon George, who has done the past few covers, \u00a0told me: \u201cI\u00a0use an older Wacom tablet &#8211; an Intuos&#8230;which I keep turned down as much as possible, keep as &#8220;firm&#8221; as possible. I use mostly the airbrush tools in Painter 9.5. It takes some practice; but it&#8217;s SO worth it! I can now draw freehand on my tablet; not as well as with pencil and paper&#8230;but I&#8217;m drawing.
