anywhere I\u2019m going to touch anything someone has touched.\u00a0 I\u2019m not obsessive or paranoid about it, I just know I began having less colds when I began washing and sanitizing my hands after contact.\u00a0 But now that you\u2019ve got your cold and are right in the middle of it, here\u2019s how to get over it and maybe rid yourself of the pattern once and for all.\u00a0 First of all, stop reminding yourself that you get a cold each time it turns cold.\u00a0 Having that thought repeatedly ingrained into your consciousness keeps you on the hamster wheel of having the thought then having the cold, year after year after year.\u00a0 I thought the same thing until I realized what I was doing to myself.\u00a0\u00a0 <!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I learned to take 1000 mg of Vitamin C 3-4 times a day, to boost the immune system.\u00a0 You should take at least 3000 mg and also go to a lab and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wuesthoffreferencelab.com\/\">ask for a blood test<\/a><\/span> to measure your \u201cVitamin D, 25 hydroxy\u201d score.\u00a0 If it\u2019s low, taking 5000 IU a day may be all you need to do to nip a cold in the bud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">50 mg of Zinc is also helpful to the immune system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abraham-hicks.com\/lawofattractionsource\/journal.php?journal_category=12\"><span>Abraham-Hicks<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">reminds us that we\u2019d be stunned to know all the diseases and ailments that run through our body on any given day.\u00a0 If we had a blood test or MRI every hour of every day, we\u2019d see it, but that\u00a0<em>a diagnosis is just a snapshot in time.<\/em>\u00a0The next moment the ailment can be out of your system, but if you continue to think about it and believe it\u2019s there, you\u2019ll see increasing evidence of it as you turn it into a chronic condition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For most people, that\u2019s what the annual cold is when the first winter chill hits: their ingrained belief coming to manifestation for them again, right on schedule.\u00a0 They don\u2019t realize they are simply continuing to re-ingrain the thought with each thinking of it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The remedy is to ingrain a new thought and a new belief.\u00a0<em>\u00a0My new thought and new belief is that now that I know better, I can begin doing something about it.<\/em>\u00a0I can remember when everyone begins talking about their annual cold, that\u00a0<em>I don\u2019t have to get one<\/em>.\u00a0 I read up on vitamin sufficiency and I make good nutritional choices.\u00a0 I get my blood tested ($10-$50) every few months so I know what my body needs.\u00a0 I stay active and get enough rest.\u00a0 Then I just let my body do its own magic.\u00a0 This is how you pre-pave the end of the winter cold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the meantime, sip hot fluids to stay hydrated, stretch and breathe deeply even if you\u2019re confined to bed.\u00a0 Take steamy showers or baths to help flush the toxins out of your system.\u00a0 Eat only light soups or clear broths, so your system can focus more on healing and less on digestion.\u00a0 Sleep as much as you can, lie still and rest if you can\u2019t sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Most importantly: Think good thoughts.\u00a0 Remember happy times.\u00a0 Pre-pave fun tomorrows.\u00a0 Know that this cold (or this worry) will be over before you know it and you\u2019ll be back to doing the things you like to do.\u00a0 What are those things?\u00a0 Think about them.\u00a0 Pre-pave them.\u00a0 Be excited about them.\u00a0 That\u2019s how you make this Now moment become your point of attraction for tomorrow\u2019s happy times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Everything \u2014 the good, the bad and the ugly \u2014 is just a snapshot in time, until you decide to focus on it and expand it to become a constant presence in your life.<\/em>\u00a0Make sure that what you focus on is exactly you want to attract more of.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Yes<\/em>\u00a0to thinking of more happiness, health and fun adventures.\u00a0\u00a0<em>No thank you\u00a0<\/em>to thinking about problems that don\u2019t really concern me, such as world affairs I can do nothing about.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I wish I\u2019d learned this thirty years ago.\u00a0 I\u2019d have gotten more serious about having fun.\u00a0 Oops, see?\u00a0 There I go again.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t matter when I learned it, I know it Now.\u00a0 And Now is all I ever have anyway.\u00a0 Here\u2019s to happy tomorrows.\u00a0 We\u2019re each in charge of what comes our way.\u00a0 That\u2019s such a relief and so empowering.\u00a0 I Am \u2014 hear me roar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/a-diagnosis-is-just-a-snapshot-in-time\/\">A diagnosis is just a snapshot in time<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=14689\">When \u201cthinking positive\u201d doesn\u2019t help<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=15854\">Get diagnosed or not?<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=16173\">Why Do Spiritual People Ever Get Sick?<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=3379\">Doing Experimental Creat-ive Visualizations<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=16017\">Do you really have this or that diagnosis?
