Maybe that\u2019s because as a teenager I went through that rebellion stage where I wanted to think and do the opposite of everything I was told.\u00a0 That included making Friday the 13th be a lucky day for me.\u00a0 I see now that by me doing that, I was each Friday the 13th constantly looking for the positive aspects of the day.\u00a0 I was anticipating days before wondering what kind of good things would come my way.\u00a0 So was it <em>really<\/em> my lucky day, or did it just <em>become <\/em>my lucky day due to my belief that it was and my expectation that it would continue?\u00a0 Either way, I won.<span id=\"more-5871\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Oh Andrea, are you singing that old tune again?\u00a0 \u201c<em>Expectation and belief determine your future experience.<\/em>\u201c\u00a0 Yeah, yeah, yawn, tell me something I don\u2019t know\u2026\u00a0 Well, if you know it, why aren\u2019t you acting like it?\u00a0 If you expect dollars to flow, are you talking about the possibilities of that with friends?\u00a0 Or are you talking about everyone who\u2019s out of work and how bad the economy is?\u00a0 Either way, simply take note of what you\u2019re saying with friends and what experience you have in the days and weeks to come.\u00a0 Just notice the cause and effect your words and thoughts have.<\/p>\n<p>If you really know that your expectation and belief determine your future experience, is there any reason not to spend time deciding what fun things you\u2019d like to be doing in the next week, the next month, the next year?\u00a0 Is there any reason not to spend some quality time daydreaming about that?<\/p>\n<p>Daydreaming is an easy mode of creative visualization.\u00a0 Daydreaming, fantasizing, pretending.\u00a0 Pretending is important: \u201cpre\u201d from \u201cahead of time, before\u201d and \u201ctend\u201d for \u201cintend\u201d.\u00a0 So when you are fantasizing and pretending, you are intending in advance what you\u2019d like your future experience to be.\u00a0 You are vibrating in resonance with it and attracting it to you.<\/p>\n<p>The earliest known documented reference to Friday the 13th in English occurs in an 1869 biography of Gioachino Rossini: [ Rossini] <em>was surrounded to the last by admiring and affectionate friends;
