I hope you suffer a debilitating brain aneurism, you freak!&#8221; <\/em> Hobbes knows he means<em> &#8220;She *cute*, isn&#8217;t she?&#8221; <\/em> And we can all relate to the memorable balcony scene in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmsite.org\/anni3.html\" target=\"_blank\">Annie Hall<\/a> with Diane Keaton and Woody Allen&#8217;s real thoughts seen in thought-bubble subtitles at the bottom of the screen as they carry on absurd, small-talk about photography:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Alvy: So, did you do those photographs in there, or what?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\">Annie: Yeah, yeah, I sort of dabble around, you know. <\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>(Subtitle: I dabble? Listen to me &#8211; what a jerk.)<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Alvy: They&#8217;re wonderful. They have a quality&#8230; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <em>(Subtitle: You are a great &#8211; looking girl.)<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\">Annie: Well, I would like to take a serious photography course. <\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>(Subtitle: He probably thinks I&#8217;m a yo-yo.)<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Alvy: (pretentiously) Photography&#8217;s interesting because, you know, it&#8217;s a new form, and a set of aesthetic criteria have not emerged yet. \u00a0\u00a0 <em>(Subtitle: I wonder what she looks like naked.)<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\">Annie : You mean whether it&#8217;s a good photo or not? <\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em>(Subtitle: I&#8217;m not smart enough for him.)<\/em><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve all seen that in action.\u00a0 I was reminded of that today when I was reading comments to one of my Facebook posts. I usually make a lot of posts about what I am working on during the day with the magazine, and what<a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> healthy foods <\/a>I am eating.\u00a0 Earlier this week I posted:<em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> For safety sake, when I make Facebook posts, I never say I&#8217;m about to go somewhere so no one (really) knows my schedule. If I say I&#8217;m headed out, I likely just returned.<\/span><\/em><br \/>\nThese are the comments I&#8217;ve gotten so far:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Barbara Nowak: <\/span><em>What a wise woman!<\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\">Esther Seymour-Vogenitz:<\/span> <em>Smart!<\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Sharon B: <\/span><em>Hmmm, so when you say broccoli, is that really a code for cheetos?<\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\">Pete Hitlin: <\/span><em>Sharon, you may be on to something. I believe I shall be using such a code!<\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Lounge-a Rama:<\/span> <em>I like it to!
