{"id":38009,"date":"2014-08-26T20:26:12","date_gmt":"2014-08-27T00:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=38009"},"modified":"2014-10-20T08:17:41","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T12:17:41","slug":"when-we-fail-to-recognize-who-our-spiritual-family-is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/when-we-fail-to-recognize-who-our-spiritual-family-is\/","title":{"rendered":"When we fail to recognize who our spiritual family is"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_38010\" style=\"width: 226px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/circle-of-friends.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38010\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38010\" src=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/circle-of-friends.jpg\" alt=\"The person next to you is part of your spiritual family, like it or not -- or they wouldn't be there.\" width=\"216\" height=\"216\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-38010\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The person next to you is part of your spiritual family, like it or not &#8212; or they wouldn&#8217;t be there.<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"size-full wp-image-38010\">I&#8217;m always coming across friends who are scoping out locations to open a new healing center, a place for like minded folks to gather and come to circle.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen it often: a new group begins and soon enough personality conflicts split it apart and each party goes off to start their own group.\u00a0 Twenty years later, there are a dozen groups, each with just a handful of attendees.\u00a0 Everyone wants to start their own group rather than attend where someone rubs them the wrong way.\u00a0 What they fail to see is that each person in the group &#8212;<em> especially if they rub you the wrong way<\/em> &#8212; are there reflecting back to you facets of your personality that you are unaware of.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=38523\">When you are triggered by something or someone, that shows you where you have emotional work to do<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>So, personality conflicts on the spiritual path?
