\"\"<\/a>I’ve been doing a series of paintings as a form of shamanic soul retrieval<\/a>. As I paint, I meditate on the images that come to mind, which I take to depict a part of me.\u00a0 I’m then taken on a journey, via inner imagery and creative visualization, to the astral realm where I connect with the individual messengers and power totems that will be included in each piece.\u00a0 This one I call Moon Gal with Raven and Moonstone. Raven activates the energy of magic and links it to our will and intention. The raven shows us how to go into the dark of our inner self and bring out the light of our true self, resolving inner conflicts which have long been buried. Moon Gal has an extra long neck representing giraffe energy.\u00a0 Giraffes see from the higher perspective and are able to reach things most can’t.\u00a0 They like to stick their neck out and they remain high above the fray. The neck is the bridge between the worlds, so I often elongate it, signifying being on that journey. \u00a0 <\/p>\n

I’ve given Moon Gal a hanging moonstone and crystal bracelet. Moonstone is an expression of the yin, the soothing and mysterious energy of the moon, moonstone is the bringer of calm, peace and balance.\u00a0 A stone for \u201cnew beginnings,\u201d moonstone is a stone of inner growth and strength.\u00a0 It soothes emotional instability and stress, and stabilizes the emotions, providing calmness.\u00a0 Moonstone enhances intuition, promotes inspiration, success and good fortune in love and business matters.\u00a0 Moonstone aids the digestive system, assimilates nutrients, eliminates toxins and fluid retention, and alleviates degenerative conditions of skin, hair, eyes, and fleshy organs such as the liver and pancreas.\u00a0 It stimulates the pineal gland and balances hormonal cycles, being excellent for PMS, conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and breast-feeding.\u00a0 Moonstone is also beneficial to men in opening the emotional self.<\/p>\n
