Then that karma will not carry into your new relationships either. \u00a0I have a pair of jeans I embroidered when I was 13, with the words &#8220;<em>Exodus 20:5 \u00a0I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children<\/em>.&#8221; I did it to tick my dad off. I don&#8217;t think God does any such thing. My experience is when the parents are able to clear up their past baggage, everything in their life improves. This includes the children, the grandchildren, the pets (not kidding.) \u00a0To the extent I clear up my past, to that extent do I improve the lives of those around me as well.\u00a0Our children reap the karma of all relationships left unmended. You&#8217;re the one who determines how long that is. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=10926\">Mend everything, forgive it all<\/a>.
