{"id":32108,"date":"2013-09-05T00:25:49","date_gmt":"2013-09-05T04:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=32108"},"modified":"2022-07-05T08:04:03","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T13:04:03","slug":"i-love-when-i-can-copycat-my-favorite-restaurant-recipes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/i-love-when-i-can-copycat-my-favorite-restaurant-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"I love when I can copycat my favorite restaurant recipes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday we went to <a href=\"http:\/\/smile-village.com\/PhoCali\/\">Pho Cali Vietnamese Noodle House<\/a> in Mebourne\u00a0and had\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=527\">crispy tofu <\/a>with broccoli and <a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=596\">brown garlic sauce.<\/a> I tasted it and thought &#8220;<em>I can make that!<\/em>&#8221; \u00a0So tonight I did. I cut the tofu larger than normal, which resulted in it not getting crunchy all the way through. \u00a0The coating was crisp, and it was good, but I like <a href=\"http:\/\/goddessgrub.com\/blog\/?p=527\">the crisp crunchiness of the savory tofu I usually make<\/a>. I cooked half the tofu last night. \u00a0For the next batch, I&#8217;ll cut it in smaller bites.
