\"\"<\/a>Today is the birthday of my childhood friend,\u00a0Wally<\/a>\u00a0(Walter Clarence Smith.) \u00a0He and his family lived down the street from us during our childhood years.\u00a0 We were the best of friends.\u00a0 We attended school together from elementary through graduation at Hialeah High in 1970.\u00a0 We kept in touch as we grew older and moved apart.\u00a0 Our last visit was a month before he passed on March 12, 2013. \u00a0I join with his\u00a0loving sister, my dear beloved Linda, in celebrating his being-ness today.\u00a0 Always one to chose his own destiny, it was Wally’s choice when to drop his earthly robes for his final walk.\u00a0 You’ll be missed, my brother.\u00a0 There will never be another like you. We’ll meet again.\"\"<\/p>\n
