My first job yesterday was to clean out the garage. \u00a0I’d let it go for several months. A friend stopped by and gave some game plan suggestions, first determining how many boxes to break down for recycling – all of them! \u00a0I moved the mower and car out of the garage and began clearing at the door. There was a box for Goodwill, a box for things going to the shed, and several trash cans which filled quickly. I gathered several plastic shoeboxes to hold small items. \u00a0I swept the floor and wiped down surfaces. I saw it was mostly surface clutter that was easily cleared. \u00a0I find that’s the thing with clutter and disorganization. It may seem like too big a job to tackle, so I keep putting it off. \u00a0Once I finally just do it, I see it was no big deal. Related: Cut the sh*t and do the thing<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

I banged my temple on the corner of a shelf, luckily I’ve done that before and rounded the corner off, but I have a sore knot at my temple today. \u00a0I came across some items of my husband’s and snapped at a friend who, not knowing the back story,\u00a0suggested I discard them. We later had a debriefing about the snapping, to clear the air. \u00a0I love friends who are conscious enough to not let something like that go. \u00a0A debriefing let me discover where the emotion came from. \u00a0The highlight of the year was yesterday’s magical\u00a0grand water trine. The transitting Sun, Mars, Venus and Jupiter in Cancer were squaring my four Aries planets. I let myself be grouchy. \u00a0No excuse for it, ever. Talking stuff out is invaluable in friendships; kudos to the ones conscious enough to make it a priority. My garage now feels like it has twice as much breathing room. So do I. The day began in expansion and ended in expansion. That’s getting to be a daily happening. \u00a0I must be doing something right.<\/p>\n
