{"id":2882,"date":"2009-05-13T07:23:58","date_gmt":"2009-05-13T12:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/?p=2882"},"modified":"2009-05-13T07:23:58","modified_gmt":"2009-05-13T12:23:58","slug":"my-8-new-policies-for-eating-healthy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/my-8-new-policies-for-eating-healthy\/","title":{"rendered":"My 8 new policies for eating healthy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday, May 13, 2009.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em> I feel back to normal today. <\/em> I went to the bank and post office first thing yesterday while I had energy, then worked for about 5 hours on the June magazine.\u00a0 Then I basically napped and lolled around the rest of the day while I took last minute ad deadline phone calls.\u00a0\u00a0 I ate very lightly: some soup, a <em>Lean Cuisine<\/em> turkey and vegetables meal for supper, a boiled potato with some broccoli for dinner.\u00a0 So I am now kind of late working on the June <a href=\"http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\" target=\"_blank\">Horizons<\/a> but I think I can do it in time.\u00a0 It always works out for me somehow.\u00a0 When I know something has to be done on time, I always muster the\u00a0 where with all to do it.\u00a0 I am going to implement some new and improved policies for eating.\u00a0 I already, for the most part, eat the right foods.\u00a0 I still have a habit, though,\u00a0 of overeating rice, bread and pasta.\u00a0 My new policies include:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 At each eating segment, I will eat a meal the size of my fist.\u00a0 Not the size of my head.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 I can eat this amount every 4 hours.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Lettuce and raw vegetable salads can be half the size of my head.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 A serving of pasta or rice is one cup, not 4.
